The impact of digital transformational leadership on digital intensity among primary healthcare entities: a moderated mediation model.

Background: Uncertain times require healthcare entities to demonstrate strong leadership, develop digitalisation, and respond to change in a creative and flexible manner. Based on emerging new institutional theory, we developed and tested a model of how digital transformational leadership (DTL) affects digital intensity (DI) among healthcare entities through the mediating role of organisational agility (OA). In this article, we also examine the moderating role of the country in the studied relationship.

Background: Digital maturity can help primary care facilities enhance their processes, communication, and adaptability to change, thereby fostering trust and job involvement. This study aimed to examine the causal relationships between perceived environmental uncertainty, digital maturity, organizational trust, and job involvement among managers of primary care facilities in the UK. The researchers applied socio-technical theory to examine the consequences of technology implementation on work practices and utilized contingency theory to ensure long-term stability in primary care facilities.

Predictive Factors of Physicians' Satisfaction and Quality of Work Under Teleconsultation Conditions: Structural Equation Analysis.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic contributed to an increase in teleconsultation adoption in the Polish primary health care system. It is expected that in the long run, teleconsultations will successfully replace a significant part of face-to-face visits. Therefore, a significant challenge facing primary health care facilities (PHCs) is the acceptance of teleconsultations by their users, especially physicians.

Use of Telemedicine Technology among General Practitioners during COVID-19: A Modified Technology Acceptance Model Study in Poland.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, telehealth became a popular solution for the remote provision of primary care by General Practitioners (GPs) in Poland. This study aimed to assess the GPs' acceptance of telehealth during the COVID-19 pandemic in Poland and to explain the factors that drive GPs' need to implement a telehealth system in primary care using the modified Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). In Poland, 361 GPs from a representative sample of 361 clinics drawn from 21,500 outpatient institutions in Poland participated in the empirical study.

Health has a significant influence on the quality of life of a society. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many countries to implement restrictive measures to prevent its wider spread, including, inter alia, the introduction of remote healthcare in the form of teleconsultations. Therefore, there is the question of how such a change affects the quality of treatment and the primary healthcare of patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The impact of medical teleconsultations on general practitioner-patient communication during COVID- 19: A case study from Poland.

According to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, medical teleconsultations using various technologies have become an important tool to mediate communication between general practitioners (GP) and the patients in primary health care in many countries. The quality of the GP-patient communication is an essential factor, which improves the results of treatment and patient satisfaction. The objective of this paper is to study patients' satisfaction from teleconsultation in primary care and the impact of teleconsultations on GP-patient communication through the Covid-19 pandemic in Poland.

The Research on Patient Satisfaction with Remote Healthcare Prior to and during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The issue of research on patient satisfaction with healthcare services took on a completely new dimension due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the developing telehealth services. This results from the fact that during the pandemic, remote healthcare was often the only possible form of care provision to the patient. The COVID-19 pandemic has substantially accelerated the implementation of remote healthcare in healthcare institutions and made it an essential tool for providing healthcare services.
