The focus of this study is to explore the impact of gut microbiota in different states on the blood components of couplet medications (dried toad skin and radix clematidis) and to identify drug metabolites associated with the gut microbiota. By constructing a pseudo-sterile rat model and combining non-targeted metabolomics with plasma pharmacology, we found that the plasma metabolites of couplet medications underwent significant changes in different gut microbiome environments. The GABA and PGE1 levels in the model group and the model+TCM (traditional chinese medicine) group were both significantly lower than those in the normal+TCM group.

A systematic search was conducted across seven electronic databases, namely PubMed, Cochrane Library, Excerpt Medica Database, Web of Science, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, and Wan-fang Database, to identify eligible studies from 2,000 to 2,023. This study includes a total of 14 randomized controlled clinical trials, with 514 patients in the TCM combo therapy group and 506 patients in the control group.

We explore the phonon transport properties of defect-laden bilayer PtSTe using equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations based on a neural-network force field. Defects prove very efficient at depressing the thermal conductivity of the structure, and flower defects have a particularly powerful effect, comparable to that of double vacancies. Furthermore, the conductivity of the structure with flower defects exhibits an unusual temperature dependence due to structural instability at high temperatures.

Using first-principles calculations and Boltzmann transport theory, we study the effect of biaxial tensile strain on phonon transport in a Janus PtSTe monolayer. The band gap between the optical and acoustic phonon branches shrinks with increasing strain, resulting in a highly nonlinear monotonic decrease in the lattice thermal conductivity. That reduction reaches close to an order of magnitude when the gap disappears completely under high strains (>8%).

This article investigates the synchronization of stochastic delayed neural networks under pinning impulsive control, where a small fraction of nodes are selected as the pinned nodes at each impulsive moment. By proposing a uniformly stable function as a new tool, some novel mean square decay results are presented to analyze the error system obtained from the leader and the considered neural networks. For the divergent error system without impulsive effects, the impulsive gains of pinning impulsive controller can admit destabilizing impulse and the number of destabilizing impulse may be infinite.
