Radiomics, an advanced medical imaging analysis technique introduced by Professor Lambin in 2012, has quickly become a key area of medical research. To explore emerging trends in cancer-related radiomics, we conducted a bibliometric analysis of the 100 most-cited articles (T100) in this field. Data were collected from the Web of Science Core Collection on October 7, 2023, and the articles were ranked by citation count.

Antimicrobial resistance is a critical global health challenge, requiring effective strategies to promote rational antimicrobial prescribing among healthcare professionals. This study investigates how social support mediates prescribing behavior through psychosocial factors, providing insights into healthcare decision-making. A cross-sectional survey of 720 healthcare professionals was conducted, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to evaluate the mediating roles of self-efficacy, knowledge and skills, and health beliefs.

Regorafenib plus sintilimab as a salvage treatment for microsatellite stable metastatic colorectal cancer: a single-arm, open-label, phase II clinical trial.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have limited efficacy in microsatellite stable (MSS) metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC), and combination therapy needs to be further explored. In this single-arm, open-label, phase II trial (NCT04745130), we evaluate the efficacy and safety of the combination therapy of antiangiogenesis (regorafenib) and ICI (sintilimab) in patients with MSS mCRC. The primary endpoint is overall survival (OS).

The suppressors of cytokine signaling 2 (SOCS2) inhibits growth hormone receptor (GHR) signaling by negative feedback in the regulation of metabolism. In this study, we found that GHR upregulates SOCS2 expression, whereas KIT mutations, the key driver mutations of gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs), inhibits SOCS2 expression in GISTs. Furthermore, SOCS2 associated and inhibited the activation of KIT mutations, but not wild-type KIT, in addition to its inhibition of GHR signaling, suggesting that KIT mutations may promote their activation by downregulation of SOCS2 expression.

By searching the Web of Science Core Collection, we have summarized the top 100 cited papers in this field and conducted the first bibliometric study on mental health and virtual reality using CiteSpace.

Background: Brain stimulation therapy (BST) has significant potential in treating psychiatric, movement, and cognitive disorders. Given the high prevalence of comorbidities among these disorders, we conducted an umbrella review to comprehensively assess the efficacy of BSTs in treating the core symptoms across these three categories of disorders.

This paper presents the development of an intelligent sensing platform dedicated to accurately identifying terahertz (THz) spectra obtained from various biochemical substances. The platform currently has two distinct identification modes, which focus on identifying five amino acids, namely phenylalanine, methionine, lysine, leucine, and threonine, and five carbohydrates, namely aspartame, fructose, glucose, lactose monohydrate, and sucrose based on their THz spectra. The first mode, called One-dimensional THz Spectrum Identification (OTSI), combines THz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) with the proposed mini convolutional neural network (MCNN) model.

Methods: We conducted a systematic review following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses and Meta-analysis of Observational Studies in Epidemiology guidelines, searching electronic databases up to January 2024 to assess SRS's impact on post-treatment hemorrhage rates. Pooled risk ratios (RRs) and confidence intervals were used to quantify this effect, along with assessments of lesion volume changes, seizure outcomes, and SRS-related adverse effects.
