Objective: To summarize research progress on application of Cup-cage reconstruction in revision of chronic pelvic discontinuity (CPD) in patients undergoing total hip arthroplasty (THA).
Methods: Relevant literature at home and abroad in recent years was reviewed to summarize the principles of the Cup-cage reconstruction, preoperative patient assessment, intraoperative skills, clinical and radiological effectiveness, limitations, and postoperative complications.
Results: For the treatment of CPD, the Cup-cage reconstruction achieved long-term acetabular cup bone ingrowth, CPD healing, and biologic fixation of the prosthesis by restoring pelvic continuity.
Objective: To investigate the predictive factors for new fractures in adjacent vertebrae after percutaneous vertebroplasty for osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures, thus providing new insights for clinical practice.
Methods: A total of 124 patients were retrospectively included in this study. Based on the presence of new vertebral compression fractures in adjacent vertebrae postoperatively, patients were divided into a non-fracture group and a new-fracture group.
Objective: Both blood loss and lower extremity swelling after total knee arthroplasty (TKA) can affect a patient's postoperative recovery. The aim of this trial was to investigate whether different doses of intra-articular tranexamic acid (TXA) can reduce blood loss and postoperative lower limb swelling.
Methods: In a prospective, randomized-controlled trial, a total of 225 patients were randomly assigned to three groups from September 2020 through January 2021: intra-articular injections of 3 g, 1 g of TXA, or placebo (saline solution).

Electrical stimulation has been hotpot research and provoked extensive interest in a broad application such as wound closure, tissue injury repair, and nerve engineering. In particular, immense efforts have been dedicated to developing electrical microneedles, which demonstrate unique features in terms of controllable drug release, real-time monitoring, and therapy, thus greatly accelerating the process of wound healing. Here, a review of state-of-art research concerning electrical microneedles applied for wound treatment is presented.

Curcumol (CUR) was found to have a certain sensitizing effect on chemoresistance, although the mechanism was not yet fully understood. To clarify the ability of CUR to intervene in the sensitivity of GC cells to Cisplatin (CDDP) by regulating the induction of ferroptosis through the P62/KEAP1/NRF2 pathway.

But, it is not known how it can prevent the development of hemostatic and inflammatory conditions in patients who undergo bilateral simultaneous total hip arthroplasty (SBTHA). This study will analyze the safety and effectiveness of combining this drug with SBTHA.

Attempts in this field tend to develop efficient dosage forms for delivering Chinese medicine with low side effects. In this paper, we proposed novel photothermal responsive porous hollow microneedles (PRPH-MNs) as a versatile Chinese medicine delivery system for efficient antibacterial wound treatment.

Purpose: Through network pharmacology combined with molecular docking and in vivo validation, the study examines the unexplored molecular mechanisms of Tongxieyaofang (TXYF) in the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). In particular, the potential pharmacological mechanism of TXYF alleviating IBS by regulating CHRM3 and intestinal barrier has not been studied.
Patients And Methods: LC-MS technique and TCMSP database were used in combination to identify the potential effective components and target sites of TXYF.
Objective: In addition to the surface hemorrhage of cancellous bone after large-area osteotomy, the intramedullary hemorrhage after the reamed knee joint is also a major cause of postoperative bleeding after total knee arthroplasty (TKA). This study evaluated the efficacy and safety of bone wax application at different time points of prone hemorrhage to reduce perioperative blood loss.
Methods: From August 2023 to December 2023, 150 patients undergoing primary unilateral TKA were included in this prospective, randomized controlled trial, patients were randomly divided into three groups: group A, after autogenous osteotomy plug was used to fill the femoral medullary cavity, the residual space was sealed with bone wax and the exposed cancellous bone surface around the prosthesis was coated with bone wax after the prosthesis adhesion; group B, only the exposed cancellous bone surface around the prosthesis was coated with bone wax; and group C, no bone wax was used.
Background: Our aim was to examine trends in the bibliometric analysis of synovial for osteoarthritis over the last 10 years.
Methods: Publications relevant to synovial in osteoarthritis from 2013 to 2022 were retrieved from the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-E), Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI), and Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) databases. The countries/regions, institutions, authors, journals, references, and keywords related to this topic were extracted using Citespace and Vosviewer.

Objective: To investigate the relationship between degeneration of cervical intervertebral disc and degeneration of paravertebral muscles[multifidus (MF), cervical semispinalis (SCer), semispinalis capitis (SCap) and splenius capitis (SPL)].
Methods: 82 patients with chronic neck pain were randomly selected, including 43 males and 39 females, with 50.73 0.
The homologous recombination strategy has a long history of editing Saccharomyces cerevisiae target genes. The application of CRISPR/Cas9 strategy to editing target genes in S. cerevisiae has also received a lot of attention in recent years.

The non-volatile metabolites generated by different cooking methods that affect the nutritional value and color of GR are still poorly understood. Herein, a widely targeted metabolomics approach was used to understand the effects of different cooking methods (steaming, baking, and frying) on the metabolite profiles of GR.

This study designed and developed a mosquito killer (MK) with a specific light wavelength, simulated human body temperature, human odor, and a photocatalyst to stimulate CO based on the physiological characteristics and ecological habits of mosquitoes. We tested the trapping effect of individual and multiple mosquito-trapping elements of the MK through two-way selection experiments and compared them with several commercial mosquito traps.

Methods: Magnesium sulfate and sodium bicarbonate were added to a cocktail of ropivacaine, epinephrine, and dexamethasone. Primary outcome measures were visual analog scale (VAS) pain scores at various intervals after surgery, morphine consumption for rescue analgesia after surgery, and time to first rescue analgesia.
Introduction: The composition of the intestinal microbiome correlates significantly with an animal's health status. Hence, this indicator is highly important and sensitive for protecting endangered animals. However, data regarding the fungal diversity of the wild (takin) gut remain scarce.

These regular rhythms are regulated by core clock genes and recent studies have also implicated roles for microRNAs in this regulation. Oviposition is an important circadian behavior in the reproductive cycle of insect vectors of diseases, and little is known about the rhythm or its regulation in mosquitoes.
