In order to improve the adsorption and immobilization capacity of biochar for Cd and atrazine in soil, the biochar was prepared from corn straw and modified by dry ball milling under various conditions. Compared with the pristine biochar (PB), the ball-milled biochar (BB) had a larger specific surface area and more pores, the number of oxygen-containing functional groups increased significantly, and the adsorption capacity of Cd and atrazine increased by 9.0% and 139.

However, the moisture sorption of lactose powder could exert detrimental effects on the excipient itself, as well as on the tablet quality. The effects of storage relative humidity (RH) conditions for different grades of lactose powders and tablets on compression behavior and tablet qualities were investigated.

Here, we show that vitamin E succinate (VES) acts as a degrader for the mA RNA demethylase fat mass and obesity-associated protein (FTO), thus suppressing tumor growth and resistance to immunotherapy. FTO is ubiquitinated by its E3 ligase DTX2, followed by UFD1 recruitment and subsequent degradation in the proteasome. VES binds to FTO and DTX2, leading to enhanced FTO-DTX2 interaction, FTO ubiquitination, and degradation in FTO-dependent tumor cells.

Methods: A retrospective cohort study of postoperative systemic arterial hypertension incidence in infants who underwent cardiac surgery was conducted. The primary diagnosis was retrieved.
At present, it is very necessary to select and prepare suitable positive and negative electrode materials to fabricate high-performance asymmetric supercapacitors. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have garnered significant attention in the energy storage field due to their high conductivity. As a branch, the zirconium organic framework (UIO-66) is a promising porous material due to its large specific surface area and abundant Zr centers.

Continuing infusion of unfractionated heparin (UFH) was a potential option for CRT. This study was to determine the effect of continuous UFH infusion on asymptomatic CRT at discharge in infants after cardiac surgery.

Although several DDR1 kinase inhibitors have been developed, recent studies have revealed the critical roles of the noncatalytic functions of DDR1 in tumor progression, metastasis, and immune exclusion. Degradation of DDR1 presents an opportunity to block its noncatalytic functions.

Bletilla striata polysaccharide (BSP), a natural polysaccharide renowned for its hemostatic properties, holds promising applications in biomedical fields. In this study, a dual-dynamic-bonds crosslinked hydrogel was synthesized via a facile one-pot method utilizing poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA)-borax as a matrix system, followed by the incorporation of BSP and tannic acid (TA).

The inhibitors of dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4), an enzyme involved in glucose metabolism regulation, are essential for managing Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM). The inhibition of DPP-4 has become a promising treatment approach for T2DM because it can increase levels of active glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), leading to improved insulin secretion in response to glucose and reduced release of glucagon.

MPs exist widely in food legumes farmland soil due to the extensive use of agricultural film and organic fertilizer, but their distribution characteristics and their impact on soil environment have not been reported. The abundance and characteristics of MPs, soil physical and chemical properties, and bacterial community composition were investigated in 76 soil samples from five provinces in northern China.
