Prostate cancer (PCa) is the most common non-cutaneous malignancy and the second leading cause of cancer-related death in men. Despite its prevalence, treatment outcomes are often unsatisfactory, necessitating the search for more effective therapeutic approaches. mTOR inhibitor Rapamycin (RAPA) has shown promise in managing PCa, but the emergence of resistance often undermines its long-term effectiveness.

This process is distinct from other forms of cell death such as apoptosis, necrosis, and ferroptosis. The accumulation of copper is known to play a significant role in various biological processes, including angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels) and metastasis (the spread of cancer cells to different parts of the body).

Introduction: As the backbone of future healthcare delivery, the mental health of undergraduate nursing students can have a direct impact on patients' perceptions of health and the quality of their healthcare learning. However, there has been little qualitative research on the factors influencing the mental health of undergraduate nursing students.
Aim: This study investigated the current status and factors influencing depression and anxiety in undergraduate nursing students.
The main chemical constituents from Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma were isolated and purified using the macroporous resin, microporous resin(MCI) and octadecylsilyl silica gel(ODS) column chromatography, as well as semi-preparative high performance liquid chromatography. Their chemical structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analyses including mass spectrometry(MS),nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR), ultraviolet(UV), infrared(IR) and circular dichoism(CD) combined with literature data.A total of 11 compounds were isolated and identified, including 4 lignan glycosides, 2 benzyl alcohol glycosides, 4 flavonoid glycosides, and 1 α-tetralone glycoside:(7S,8R)-dihydrodehydrodiconiferyl alcohol 9-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-9'-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 6)-β-D-glucopyranoside(1),(7S, 8R)-dihydrodehydrodiconiferyl alcohol 9-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(2),(7S, 8R)-dihydrodehydrodiconiferyl alcohol di-9, 9'-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(3),(+)-lyoniresinol 3α-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(4), benzyl alcohol O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside(5), benzyl alcohol O-β-D-xylopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside(6), 3'-O-methylepicatechin 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(7), 3'-O-methylcatechin 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(8), apigenin 6-C-β-D-glucopyranosyl-7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(9), isoscoparin 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(10), and(4R)-8-hydroxy-α-tetralone-4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(11).

Background: Aortic dissection is usually managed with interventional therapy, conservative therapy, and surgery to inhibit disease progression and improve prognoses. Nevertheless, the absence of meticulous and effective nursing during the treatment greatly increases the complication rates, which is detrimental to the recovery of patients.
Objective: This study aimed to explore the efficacy of predictive pain intervention in the nursing process of patients with aortic dissection.
Four pairs of undescribed enantiomeric guaiane sesquiterpenoids, (±)-alismaenols A-D (1a/1b, 3a/3b-5a/5b), together with a pair of known ones (2a/2b) were isolated from the rhizomes of Alisma plantago-aquatica. The structures and relative configurations of the isolates were established by analysis of their 1D, 2D-NMR and HRESIMS data. Their absolute configurations were determined by comparison of their experimental CD spectra and calculated electronic circular dichroism (ECD) spectra or by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.

The authors sought to construct and validate novel conditional survival nomograms for the prediction of conditional overall survival (OS) and cancer-specific survival (CSS) of colorectal signet-ring cell carcinoma (SRCC) patients.
Methods: Patients diagnosed with stage I-III SRCC between 2010 and 2019 were identified from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database.
Background: As a traditional Chinese medicinal herb, the lipid-lowing biological potential of Eucommia ulmoides leaves (EL) has been demonstrated. After fermentation, the EL have been made into various products with lipid-lowering effects and antioxidant activity. However, the anti-hyperlipidemic mechanism of fermented Eucommia ulmoides leaves (FEL) is unclear now.

DGSN decoction is often used to relieve symptoms of cold coagulation and blood stasis recorded by Treatise on Febrile Diseases (Shang Han Lun) and treat Raynaud's disease, dysmenorrhea, arthritis, migraine in TCM clinic. Accumulated evidences have suggested that this diseases are related to microcirculation disturbance.

Guaiane-type sesquiterpenoids are a class of terpenoids with [5,7] ring-fused system as the basic skeletal structure composed of three isoprene units, which are substituted by 4,10-dimethyl-7-isopropyl. According to the difference in functional groups and degree of polymerization, they can be divided into simple guaiane-type sesquiterpenoids, sesquiterpene lactones, sesquiterpene dimers, and sesquiterpene trimers. Natural guaiane-type sesquiterpenoids are widely distributed in plants, fungi, and marine organisms, especially in families such as Compositae, Zingiberaceae, Thymelaeaceae, Lamiaceae, and Alismataceae.

As a result, ASA is usually released into the aquatic environment without any treatments. Although ASA exhibits low toxicity, it can be transformed into highly toxic aromatic amines and inorganic arsenic species (As (V) as HAsO and HAsO) under natural environmental conditions.

Online thermogravimetric mass spectrometry (TG-MS) was used to analyse mass loss and gas release characteristics during co-pyrolysis. The results reveal that the mixture of cotton stalk and coal can significantly enhance the reactivity of the blends and promote the formation of effective gas.

At the same time, electronic tongue technology was used to analyze the change law of the taste index of Euodiae Fructus during the hot water washing. The results of the single factor investigation showed that the content of the main components in Euodiae Fructus showed some regular changes during the processing.

Aqueous Zn-ion battery is expected to become a substitute for Li-ion battery due to its inherent safety, low cost, and environmental friendliness. Dendrite growth and side reaction problems during electroplating lead to its low Coulombic efficiency and unsatisfactory life, which greatly limits its practical application. Here, we propose a dual-salts hybrid electrolyte, which alleviates the above issues by mixing Zn(OTf) to ZnSO solution.

The structural defects and oxygen-containing functional groups of carbon materials as electrode materials for supercapacitors or capacitive deionization devices are critical to their electrochemical performance. The tuning of surface oxygen-containing functional groups and carbon defects during pyrolysis is key to achieve a high performance in ion storage. Herein, quinonyl-dominant defective porous carbon is prepared by a pyrolysis and cross-linking route using lavender stem and potassium acetate as precursor.
