- The study aimed to enhance management strategies for chronic endometritis (CE) using a specialized sorbent modified with polyvinylpyrrolidone (FSMP) alongside antibiotics.
- Patients were divided into two groups: one received only antibiotic treatment, while the other received antibiotics with FSMP; the latter showed significantly better outcomes in reducing pathogenic growth and inflammation markers.
- Results indicated that the combination therapy with FSMP led to a more substantial reduction in pathogenic microflora and inflammatory cytokines compared to traditional antibiotic treatment alone, suggesting a more effective treatment for CE.
