S(+)-ketoprofen (dexketoprofen) stereoselectively inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) in vitro but very little is known about the differential activity of ketoprofen enantiomers in vivo. We examined the analgesic, antiinflammatory, and antipyretic activities of S(+)-ketoprofen in rats and mice.
