Current in vitro models for gastric cancer research, such as 2D cell cultures and organoid systems, often fail to replicate the complex extracellular matrix (ECM) found in vivo. For the first time, this study utilizes a gelatin methacryloyl (GelMA) hydrogel, a biomimetic ECM-like material, in 3D bioprinting to construct a physiologically relevant gastric cancer model. The determination of three-dimensional structures (3D structures) is crucial for understanding the correlation between the structural attributes of materials and their functional performance. X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) is an indispensable tool to characterize the atomic-scale local 3D structure of the system. Here, we present an approach to simulate XANES based on a customized 3D graph neural network (3DGNN) model, XAS3Dabs, which takes directly the 3D structure of the system as input, and the inherent relation between the fine structure of spectrum and local geometry is considered during the model construction.

Combining energy harvesting with energy storage systems in a single device could offer great advantages for continuous power supply in both indoor and outdoor electric applications. In this work, we demonstrate a photochargeable sodium-ion battery (PSIB) based on a photoactive cathode of two-dimensional crystals of MoSe. This photocathode enables spontaneous photodriven charging of a sodium-ion battery cathode under illumination and an increase in the reversible capacity to 29% at 600 mA g compared to that under dark conditions during galvanostatic cycling.

Stretchable electromagnetic interference (EMI) shields with strain-insensitive EMI shielding and Joule heating performances are highly desirable to be integrated with wearable electronics. To explore the possibility of applying geometric design in elastomeric liquid metal (LM) composites and fully investigate the influence of LM geometry on stretchable EMI shielding and Joule heating, multifunctional wrinkle-structured LM/Ecoflex sandwich films with excellent stretchability are developed. The denser LM wrinkle enables not only better electrical conduction, higher shielding effectiveness (SE) and steady-state temperature, but also enhanced strain-stable far-field/near-field shielding performance and Joule-heating capability.
