Notably, 7xxx series aluminum alloy has become the most popular nonferrous alloy, extensively used in industry, construction and transportation trades, due to its high comprehensive properties such as high static strength, high strength, heat resistance, high toughness, damage resistance, low density, low quenching sensitivity and rich resource. The biggest challenge for aluminum alloy today is to greatly improve the corrosion resistance of the alloy, while maintaining its strength. The preparation method of 7xxx series aluminum alloy requires controlling time lapses in the process of heating, holding and cooling, and there are many species precipitates in the crystal, but the precipitated strengthening phase is a single type of equilibrium η' phase.

The Guinier-Preston (GP) II zone in an Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy was investigated by using a high-resolution electron microscopy (HREM). We used Geometric Phase Analysis (GPA) technique to measure the experimental HREM image and the simulated HREM image to obtain the strain distribution maps. The results show converging strain fields in the GP II zone, and the maximum compressive strain can reach -7.

An electric potential (EP) was applied to enhance biotreatment of anaerobically-treated leachate from municipal solid waste incineration plants using a partial nitritation-Anammox system. At an optimal EP difference of 0.06 V, total nitrogen removal efficiency reached 71.

Methanogenic treatment of municipal solid waste (MSW) incineration leachate can be hindered by high concentrations of refractory organic matter and humification of compounds in the leachate. In an attempt to overcome some of these impediments, microbial electrolysis cells (MECs) were incorporated into anaerobic digesters (ADMECs). COD removal efficiencies and methane production were 8.
