Objective: To investigate the clinical potential and safety of Moluodan to reverse gastric precancerous lesions.

Methods: Patients aged 18-70 years diagnosed with moderate-to-severe atrophy and/or moderate-to-severe intestinal metaplasia, with or without low-grade dysplasia, and negative for Helicobacter pylori were recruited in this randomized, double-blind, parallel-controlled trial. The primary outcome was the improvement of global histological diagnosis at 1-year follow-up endoscopy using the operative link for gastritis assessment, the operative link for gastric intestinal metaplasia assessment, and the disappearance rate of dysplasia.

A series of 2(1H)-quinolinone derivatives and their rhodium (III) complexes were designed and synthesized. All the rhodium (III) complexes exhibited higher in vitro cytotoxicity for Hep G2, HeLa 229, MGC80-3, and NCI-H460 human tumor cell lines than their ligands and cisplatin, and among them complex 9 was found to be selectively cytotoxic to tumor cells. Further investigation revealed that complex 9 caused cell cycle arrest at the G2/M phase and induced apoptosis, and inhibited the proliferation of Hep G2 cells by impeding the phosphorylation of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and its downstream enzymes.

Adoptive therapy with T-cell receptor (TCR)-engineered T cells is a promising approach in cancer treatment. Because of tolerance mechanisms, it has been hard to identify the T cell receptors (TCRs) of high-avidity T cells against self (for example, tumor) antigens. TCRs that are specific for foreign human antigens from the nontolerant T cell repertoire can be identified in mice.
