Objective To observe the effects of Bushen Tiaojing Recipe (BTR) on the counts of survival preantral follicles and the bone morphogenetic protein receptor II (BMPR II )/activin receptor- like kinase 6-drosophila mothers against decapentaplegic proteins (ALK6-Smads) signal pathway in oocytes cultured in vitro, and to study its mechanism for improving the quality of oocytes. Methods Prean- tral follicles were mechanically isolated from 65 female 12-day old healthy Kunming mice, which were inoculated by normal rats' serum (as the control group) , high, medium, low dose BTR containing serums (as Shen-supplementing groups) , high dose BTR containing serum + K02288 (as the inhibitor group) , respectively. All were cultured by common method in vitro.

Far Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (Far-FTIR) and terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) were used to measure the fingerprint spectra of Azitromycin suspension, capsule, tablet and dispersible tablet under vacuum and nitrogen conditions, respectively. In the frequency range of 0.2-15 THz, highly resolved spectral features for Azitromycin suspension were measured and some minor differences were observed between domestic and exotic Azitromycin Suspension, such as linewidth broadening and additional peaks.

Background: The adhesion of monocytes to the endothelium following accumulation of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) in subendothelial spaces is an important step in the development of intimal hyperplasia in arterially implanted vein grafts and atherosclerosis in both animals and humans. However, it is not well known how serum factors affect the adhesion of monocytes.
Methods: We have studied the effect of fetal calf serum (FCS), which we considered a source of LDL, on the adhesion of monocytes to endothelial cells (ECs) by using human monocytic THP-1 cells and both a monolayer of cultured bovine aortic endothelial cells (EC monoculture) and a co-culture with bovine aortic smooth muscle cells (EC-SMC co-culture).

Purpose: To reconstruct immediately the maxilla with bone grafts after partial maxillary resection and solve complications of exposed bone grafts to the maxillary sinus leading to a high rate of bone infection and sequestration.
Study Design: Thirty-eight patients were treated by immediate reconstruction of the maxilla with bone grafts supported by pedicled buccal fat pad (BFP) graft. The facial contour, the bone healing of the bone grafts, and the function of the maxillary sinus were evaluated with the Waters radiograph and speech evaluation.

Objective: To evaluate the role of buccal-fat-pad flap in the lined coverage of the maxillary bone graft for the maxillary reconstruction after the tumor excision.
Methods: Based on the cadaver anatomical observation of the buccal-fat-pad, 38 patients with the maxillary tumors were undertaking the treatment in this paper. Under general anesthesia, the buccal-fat-pad flap was elevated and transferred to the anterior or nasal cavities as a line of the sinus after the tumor was immediately excised through an intro-oral or external approach.

OBJECTIVE: To study expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in oral squamous cell carcinomas (OSCC) and its relations to microvessel density (MVD) and lymphatic metastasis. METHODS: With 9 cases of normal oral mucosa as control, the expression rate of iNOS in 41 cases of OSCC was evaluated by immunohistochemstry SP staining. With CD34 as label, MVDs of these cases were also detected.
