A SPE-SERS method was developed for the detection of several antibiotic residues in dairy products. Gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) encapsulated with an ultrathin Cr-MIL-101 shell (Au@Cr-MIL-101 NPs) have been synthesized, and the thickness of Cr-MIL-101 shell can be precisely controlled to 3 nm. As a superior solid phase extraction (SPE) adsorbent, Cr-MIL-101 acts as a shell layer to effectively enrich antibiotics within the localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) field of Au NPs, which enhances the SERS signal and eliminates background interference.

Alterations in body composition in patients with T2D may be involved in the overall pathophysiologic process, but PAs and alterations in body composition have been poorly studied.
Methods: A total of 615 patients with T2D were selected by convenient sampling.

An arteriovenous fistula (AVF) is the preferred vascular access for hemodialysis in uremic patients, yet its dysfunction poses a significant clinical challenge. Venous stenosis, primarily caused by venous neointimal hyperplasia, is a key factor in the failure of vascular access. During vascular access dysfunction, endothelial cells (ECs) transform mechanical stimuli into intracellular signals and interact with vascular smooth muscle cells.

The Gd(III) complex was characterized using IR, UV-vis, TG-DSC, fluorescence, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. The results showed that the Gd(III) complex crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group -1, and each Gd(III) ion was coordinated with two nitrogen atoms (N1, N2, or N1a, and N2a) from two Phen ligands and seven oxygen atoms (O1, O2, O7a, O9, O8, O8a, O10a, or O1a, O2a, O7, O8, O8a, O9a, and O10) from six L ligands, respectively, forming a nine-coordinated coordination mode.

Herein, a single-molecule phosphorescence resonance energy transfer system with a large Stokes shift of 367 nm and near-infrared emission is constructed by guest molecule alkyl-bridged methoxy-tetraphenylethylene-phenylpyridines derivative, cucurbit[n]uril (n = 7, 8) and β-cyclodextrin modified hyaluronic acid. The high binding affinity of cucurbituril to guest molecules in various stoichiometric ratios not only regulates the topological morphology of supramolecular assembly but also induces different phosphorescence emissions.

This study aimed to develop a decision aid (DA) for the family surrogate of critically ill patients to support their engagement in shared decision-making process with clinicians. Methods Development of DA employed a systematic process with user-centered design (UCD) principle, which included: (i) competitive analysis: searched, screened, and assessed the existing DAs to gather insights for design strategies, developmental techniques, and functionalities; (ii) user needs assessment: interviewed family surrogates in our hospital to explore target user group's decision-making experience and identify their unmet needs; (iii) evidence syntheses: integrate latest clinical evidence and pertinent information to inform the content development of DA.

Here, the inorganic clay (LP) promoted the AIE properties of 4,4',4″,4‴-(ethene-1,1,2,2-tetrayltetrakis(benzene-4,1-diyl))tetrakis(1-ethylpyridin-1-ium) (P-TPE), showing an astonishing 42-fold enhancement of the emission intensity of the yellow-green luminescence and a 34-fold increase of the quantum yield via organic-inorganic supramolecular strategy as well as the efficient light-harvesting properties (energy transfer efficiency up to 33 %) after doping with the dye receptor Rhodamine B. Furthermore, the full-color spectral regulation, including white light, was achieved by adjusting the ratio of the donor to the acceptor component and co-assembling with the carbon dots (CD).

Osteoporosis and sarcopenia are highly prevalent in T2DM patients and may result in fractures and disabilities. In people with T2DM, the association between nutrition, sarcopenia, and osteoporosis has rarely been explored.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 45 children with ITP (ITP group) who were admitted to Handan Central Hospital from January 2020 to April 2022, and 30 healthy children who underwent physical examination during the same period were included as the healthy control group. The mRNA expression levels of IL-37, VEGFA, and TGF-β1 and the levels of regulatory T cells (Treg) and helper T cells 17 (Th17) were measured before and after treatment, and the correlation between the mRNA expression levels of IL-37, VEGFA, and TGF-β1 and the levels of Treg, Th17, and Treg/Th17 ratio were analyzed.
Possessing four cationic pyridium groups, phenyl-bridged bis(triphenylamine) derivatives (G1, G2) were encapsulated by cucurbit[8]uril (CB[8]) at a 1:2 stoichiometry to form the network-like organic two-dimensional nanosheet, which could efficiently enhance the near-infrared (NIR) luminescence and companies with a red-shift from 750 to 810 nm for G1. Benefiting from the supramolecular multivalent interaction, α-cyclodextrin modified hyaluronic acid (HACD) and G1/CB[8] formed nanoparticles to further enhance NIR luminescence behaviors. Compared with the short rigid aromatic bridged bis(triphenylamine) derivative (G2), the supramolecular assembly derived from G1 with long flexible cationic arms gives a larger Stokes shift, which further coassembles with the phosphorescent bromophenylpyridinium derivative/CB[8] pseudorotaxane, leading to efficient phosphorescent resonance energy transfer (PRET).
