Background: Post-stroke depression (PSD) is closely associated with poor stroke prognosis. However, there are some challenges in identifying and assessing PSD. This study aimed to identify scales for PSD diagnosis, assessment, and follow-up that are straightforward, accurate, efficient, and reproducible.

Introduction: Mindfulness reflects attention to the present moment in a non-judgmental way and has been linked to individual autonomy and motivation, but conclusions are inconsistent. The purpose of this review was to summarize previous studies to explore the relationship between mindfulness and motivation and its intervention effects.
Methods: Literature searches were conducted in five electronic databases.
Background: Reproductive concerns significantly affect the mental health of people, causing more serious psychological stress than disease. The reproductive concerns faced by women with schizophrenia are issues that have been neglected in the areas of psychiatry and women's health.
Objectives: To explore the experience of reproductive concerns through the perspective of women with schizophrenia.
Aim: To assess the protective effect of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cell exosomes (hucMSC-Exs) in a diabetic rat model by using a variety of retinal bioassays.
Methods: hucMSCs were subjected to differential ultracentrifugation for the collection of exosomes, and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA) using a NanoSight analysis system and Western blotting (WB) were used to analyze the expression of surface marker proteins such as CD63, CD9 and Calnexin. Streptozotocin (STZ) was injected into the intraperitoneal cavity to establish a diabetic model.
Purpose: To investigate the incidence, risk factors, and visual outcomes of epiretinal membrane development following rhegmatogenous retinal detachment repair.
Methods: This was a retrospective study of 309 eyes that underwent initial surgery for primary uncomplicated rhegmatogenous retinal detachment. Examinations were conducted preoperatively and then postoperatively at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months.
This study aimed to explore the medication self-management experience of Chinese patients with schizophrenia who are prescribed antipsychotics. Grounded theory methodology was used to guide the research. Semistructured and in-depth interviews with 17 patients with schizophrenia were conducted and analysed.

Methods: The authors downloaded GSE6752, GSE6919, and GSE32269 from the Gene Expression Omnibus and employed integrated analysis to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between mPCa and PCa.
One new lactone derivative helicascolide F (), one new pyrrolidine derivative talaromydine (), along with six known compounds (-) were isolated from the fungus JTY2. The structure of the new compounds and was determined by 1D and 2D NMR as well as by HRESIMS. The inhibitory activity of all compounds against six phytopathogenic fungi and three cancer cell lines was evaluated.

Methods: This was a prospective long-term follow-up for eyes undergoing scleral buckling (SB) surgery for macula-off RRD. Examinations were carried out preoperatively and postoperatively at 1, 3, 6, 9 and 12mo, until persistent SRF had completely resolved.
Objective: To investigate the treatment methods used for the delayed interval delivery of twins and to evaluate the maternal and infant outcomes.
Materials And Methods: The clinical data of 5 patients that underwent delayed interval delivery of twins at Fujian Maternal and Child Health Hospital from 2014 to 2018 were analyzed. The gestational ages at delivery, obstetrical management, the interval between deliveries, and the maternal and child outcomes were analyzed.
Background: As a radical treatment, breast cancer surgery has a positive psychological impact on most patients. However, some patients do not have a clear understanding of the disease, which requires a more scientific and comprehensive consideration during clinical intervention and are based on cognition. The positive behavior management model is based on this kind of background-derived new interventions, which can better serve the clinical rehabilitation process of patients.

Methods: Ninety-one patients were included in this cross-sectional study and were divided into the NDM group (20 patients), DM group (25 patients), NPDR group (21 patients) and PDR group (25 patients). Basic information and samples of serum, aqueous fluid and vitreous fluid were collected before vitrectomy or intravitreal injection.
rRNA gene high-throughput sequencing was performed in the conjunctival swab samples to investigate the composition of the OS bacterial community in DE (n=35) and NDE (n=54) and compared the composition of MGD (n=25) and NMGD (n=10) among DE subjects. Deep sequencing of OS 16S rDNA from DE (n=35) and NDE (n=54) demonstrated great a difference in alpha and beta diversity between the OS bacterial flora (P < 0.05).

Background: Electroacupuncture (EA) can promote gastrointestinal (GI) motility of diabetic mice, but the mechanism is not clearly elucidated. Natriuretic peptides (NPs) were related to the diabetes-induced gut dysfunction of mice, which may be associated with ICC (interstitial cells of cajal). Besides, EA could increase the ICC of diabetic mice.

Low well-being is common among Chinese pregnant women but few effective interventions currently exist to improve prenatal stress and negative emotions. Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) has been proved to be effective in reducing stress and rarely studies were focused on Chinese pregnant women. The aim of the current paper is to investigate the effects of 8-week MBSR on prenatal stress, anxiety and depression among Chinese pregnant women.

Then gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) grafted with PLL--PNIPAM (PNIPAM-PLL-AuNPs) were obtained by the reduction of chloroauric acid with sodium citrate in the presence of PLL--PNIPAM. PNIPAM-PLL-AuNPs and its precursors were thoroughly characterized by proton magnetic resonance spectroscope, Fourier transform infrared spectroscope, UV-vis spectroscope, transmission electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering, thermogravimetric analysis, and circular dichroism.

However, limited literatures have been reviewed to synthesize the finding of previous papers to investigate the risk factors for VAP although it has been a serious complication of mechanical ventilation (MV) with a high morbidity and mortality in the newborn. We performed this meta-analysis to extend previous knowledge for developing VAP prevention strategies by identifying the potential risk factors related to VAP in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
