Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths in women worldwide. Circular RNAs (circRNAs), a novel class of endogenous noncoding RNA with a covalently closed continuous loop that lacks the 5'-cap structure and the 3'-poly A tail, are more stable than linear RNAs and less susceptible to degradation by nucleases. CircRNAs are widespread in multiple mammalian genomes and have been detected in various tissues, cells and body fluids.

Breast RDD is exceedingly rare. It may be clinically and radiographically similar to neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases.

Total bile acid (TBA) is an easily accessible marker, but its potential as a non-invasive indicator of portal hypertension in patients with HCC is yet to be fully established.
Methods: This study included patients with HCC classified as Child-Pugh stage A who underwent liver resection at a referral hospital.
HLA-B*39:130 differs from HLA-B*39:01:01:01 at codon 214 (ACA → ATA) and position 355 (T → C) in intron 5.

This study investigates the role of enzymes involved in fatty acid activation, specifically Acyl-CoA synthetase long chain 4 (ACSL4), in HCC patients treated with postoperative adjuvant TACE (PA-TACE) and in nutrient-deprived HCC cells.
Methods: We examined the expression of ACSL4 and its family members in HCC clinical samples and cell lines.
Background: Epidemiological studies have reported that polymorphisms of folate-metabolizing genes have a significant impact on male infertility. However, the results of published studies have come to different conclusions.
Objective: To determine an association between folate-metabolizing gene polymorphisms and the risk of male infertility.
We explore the construction of gluing together an arbitrary number of spacetimes along a common interface. This provides a general tool to construct new gravitational backgrounds with multiple boundaries. We derive junction conditions across the interface, in both Einstein gravity and dilaton gravity, using two methods (1) by developing a geometrical technique of introducing an auxiliary reverse extension manifold and (2) by the variational principle.

However, in this transformation, the secondary Pd(I)-alkyl radical species are prone to recombining into Pd(II)-alkyl species to give Heck-type products via β-H loss. Herein, we report a visible-light-induced, three-component Pd-catalyzed 1,2-aminoalkylation of alkenes with readily available alkyl halides and amines to construct C-C and C-N bonds simultaneously.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of insulin resistance (IR) on in vitro fertilization (IVF)/intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) outcomes in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Study Design: PubMed, Google Scholar,Web of Science, Embase, Scopus and the Cochrane Library were searched to identify relevant studies. A total of 6,137 PCOS women undergoing IVF/ICSI with or without IR were included in the systematic review and meta-analysis.
Background: Heart failure (HF) and dementia frequently co-exist with shared pathological mechanisms and risk factors. Our study aims to investigate the association between statin therapy and the risks of dementia and its subtypes among patients with HF.
Methods: The Hong Kong Clinical Data Analysis and Reporting System database was interrogated to identify patients with incident HF diagnosis from 2004 to 2018, using ICD 9/ICD 10 codes.
Visible-light-driven chemical transformation has emerged as a powerful tool for the synthesis of γ-lactams. However, during this transformation, the α-bromoimides need to be pre-prepared. Herein, we report a photoreodox/copper-catalyzed one-pot three-component reaction of alkenes with primary amines for the construction of γ-lactams.

Aims: To investigate the risk of hyperkalaemia in new users of sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors vs. dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).
Methods And Results: Patients with T2DM who commenced treatment with an SGLT2 or a DPP-4 inhibitor between 2015 and 2019 were collected.
Background: Difficult bile duct intubation is a big challenge for endoscopists during endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedure. We report a case of percutaneous transhepatic cholangial drainage (PTCD)-guided methylene blue for fistulotomy using dual-knife for bile duct intubation.
Case Summary: A 50-year-old male patient had developed obstructive jaundice, and ERCP procedure need to be performed to treat the obstructive jaundice.
Neurotransmitters (NTs) are basic signaling chemicals used for communication between cells. The most well-known catecholamines (CAs) are epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine. CAs are an important class of monoamine NTs that contain catechins and amine groups.

There have been few reports about the incorporation of screening procedure to existing clinical practice.
