Objective: As a reversible condition at its early stages, liver fibrosis can progress to cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma, underscoring the importance of early detection for preventing severe outcomes and improving prognosis. To address this issue, we developed a platelet-derived growth factor receptor β (PDGFRβ)-targeted nanoscale phase-change contrast agent to target activated hepatic stellate cells (aHSC) and enable ultrasound imaging as a foundation for the early evaluation of liver fibrosis.

Methods: PDGFR-β antibody-modified phase-change contrast agents (PPCAs) were synthesized utilizing film hydration and ultrasonic emulsification with perfluoropentane (PFP) encapsulated.

Objective: To explore clinical efficacy of cannulated screw internal fixation in treating sustentaculum tali fractures with articular surface.

Methods: From August 2012 to June 2017, 13 sustentaculum tali fracture patients with articular surface were treated by cannulated screw internal fixation, including 10 males and 3 females, aged from 26 to 58 years old. Joint plane flatness was evaluated by calcaneal width, clearance distance of middle-range and posterior talar articular surface on coronal position of CT scan before operation and 1 year after operation.

Objectives: The concentration of tyrosine and the ratio of branch-amino acid to the aromatic amino acid in phenylketonuria (PKU) patients are much lower than that of normal people, which reveal that PKU patients have amino acid metabolism disorder. The aim of the present study was to investigate the arginine level in blood, the expression of argininosuccinate synthetase (ASS), the rate-limiting enzyme in arginine synthesis pathway, and the methylation of ASS in patients with PKU.

Design And Methods: Twenty-five children with PKU and 65 healthy controls were investigated in this study.

Objective: On the basis of YouGui drink ([Chinese characters: see text]) to act on the normal rats in vitro osteoblast proliferation and differentiation, further observe YooGui drink ([Chinese characters: see text]) inductive effect for steroid induced necrosis of femoral head rats in vitro on cultivation of osteoblast proliferation and differentiation.

Methods: Prednisolone acetate 49 mg/kg x d were injected into gluteal of 20 male SD rats (body weight in 100-120 g), continuously 6 days for model. After 7 days, under sterile conditions from the model rats bone marrow stromal cells were induced and cultured to osteoblast, and then randomly divided into 4 groups, respectively, add the high, medium and low concentration YouGui drink ([Chinese characters: see text]) containing serum (group R1, R2, R3) and control serum (group R4).
