Article Synopsis

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease causing joint inflammation and pain, with no cure currently available and many patients unresponsive to standard treatments.
The study aimed to evaluate the effects of chelerythrine (CLT) on RA and understand its action mechanisms.
Results showed that CLT effectively reduced the growth and migration of RA cells, increased cell death, and improved conditions in an RA rat model, indicating its potential as a therapeutic agent for RA.
