Objective: To evaluate the efficiency of the four domestic language models, ERNIE Bot, ChatGLM2, Spark Desk and Qwen-14B-Chat, all with a massive user base and significant social attention, in response to consultations about PCa-related perioperative nursing and health education.
Methods: We designed a questionnaire that includes 15 questions commonly concerned by patients undergoing radical prostatectomy and 2 common nursing cases, and inputted the questions into each of the four language models for simulation consultation. Three nursing experts assessed the model responses based on a pre-designed Likert 5-point scale in terms of accuracy, comprehensiveness, understandability, humanistic care, and case analysis.

Studies have shown that the Mitochondrial Transcription Termination Factor 3 (MTERF3) negatively regulates mitochondrial gene expression and energy metabolism, and plays a significant role in many cancer types. Nevertheless, the expression and prognostic role of MTERF3 in patients with thyroid carcinoma (THCA) is still unclear. Thus, we investigated the expression, clinicopathological significance, and prognostic value of MTERF3 in THCA.

A total of 29 species were recorded, belonging to 11 families and 19 genera. The dominant species were , , , , , , and , which together accounted for 82.

To explore the mechanism rendering acquired resistance to KRas inhibitors, we established a series of KRAS-mutant cells with acquired resistance to AMG510. We found that differential activation of receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs) especially EGFR or IGF1R rendered resistance to AMG510 in different cellular contexts by maintaining the activation of MAPK and PI3K signaling.

Among the different known mutants, KRas has been proved to be successfully targeted recently. Several covalent inhibitors selectively targeting KRas have shown promising efficacy against cancers harboring mutation in clinical trials and AMG510 (sotorasib) has been approved for the treatment of -mutated locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer.

In this work, we found INSL5 was elevated in NPC tumor tissue and the plasma of NPC patients. Plasma INSL5 could serve as a novel diagnostic marker for NPC, especially for serum VCA-IgA-negative patients.

The aim of the present study was to investigate whether curcumin (CUR) can ameliorate cadmium-induced reproductive toxicity and its mechanism. A total of 48 male mice were equally divided into 4 groups: control, CdCl (2 mg/kg, intraperitoneally inject) curcumin (50 mg/kg, intraperitoneally inject), co-treatment with curcumin (50 mg/kg), and CdCl (2 mg/kg) for 10 days. The results demonstrated that CdCl reduces sperm motility, decreases the sperm density and serum testosterone content, and significantly improves the rate of sperm deformity.

However, the mechanism of its toxicity has not been elucidated, and how to alleviate its toxicity is very important. This study aimed to explore the role and mechanism of action of sulforaphane (SFN) in protecting mouse Leydigs (TM3) cells from cadmium (Cd)-induced damage.

The apoptosis rate of cells in each group was detected by flow cytometry. It was determined the effect of SFN on the expression of downstream molecular targets of Nrf2/ARE axis and on the lipid peroxide content.

Briefly, by using biochemical histological analysis, as well as the real time PCR and western blot approach, oxidative damage in rat testicular tissue was observed after exposure to Cd. In addition, significant down-regulations of mRNA and protein levels of nuclear erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) and heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1), γ-glutamyl cysteine synthetase (γ-GCS), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and quinone oxidoreductase 1 (NQO1), as well as a significant up-regulation of Kelch sample related protein-1 (Keap1) levels in testicular tissue were observed after Cd exposure.

Prior to 2000, Taiwan's workplace issues focused on industrial hygiene and safety improvements. Since 2003, the Health Promotion Administration (HPA) at the Ministry of Health and Welfare has established coaching centers for workplace health promotion and dispatched trained experts for teaching health promotion skills; including promoting the tobacco control program, preventing important chronic diseases, driving comprehensive programs, advocating workplace health promotion with the Ministry of Labor, establishing certification mechanisms for workplace health promotion, recognizing outstanding health-promoting workplaces, and conducting a nationwide survey for monitoring the practices of healthy behaviors and health conditions of workers.

An emerging infectious disease was identified as severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) in central China since late March 2009. We found the patients with SFTS had severe clinical symptoms, and progressed rapidly to multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) with high fatality rate of 25%-30%. The aim of this study was to assess the significance of risk factors predicting the development of MODS and death in SFTS patients.

Objective: To investigate the effect of NSC348884, a nucleophosmin small molecular inhibitor, on the growth of hepatocellular carcinoma cell line HepG2 and its underlying mechanism.
Methods: After HepG2 cells were treated by NSC348884 for 4 days, the effect of HepG2 cells on proliferation was measured by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay, the expression variation of nucleophosmin oligomer and monomer was measured using Western blotting, and cell apoptotic rate was detected by flow cytometry.
Results: The proliferation of HepG2 cells was remarkably inhibited by NSC348884 treatment when the drug concentration ranged from 1 micromol/L to 10 micromol/L (P < 0.
