This study aims to investigate the regulatory effect of the Spatholobi Caulis extract from ethyl acetate(SEA) on natural killer(NK) cells under physiological conditions and elucidate the underlying mechanism. The C57BL/6 mice were randomized into NC and SEA groups, and NK-92 cells were respectively treated with 0, 25, 50, and 100 μg·mL~(-1) SEA. The body weight and immune organ index of the mice were compared between groups.

Multiple sclerosis(MS) shows the pathological characteristics of "inflammatory injury of white matter" and "myelin repair disability" in the central nervous system(CNS). It is very essential for MS treatment and reduction of disease burden to strengthen repair, improve function, and reduce disability. Accordingly, different from the simple immunosuppression, we believe that key to strengthening remyelination and maintaining the "damage-repair" homeostasis of tissue is to change the current one-way immunosuppression strategy and achieve the "moderate pro-inflammation-effective inflammation removal" homeostasis.

In a search for effective PPAR-γ agonists, 110 clinical drugs were screened via molecular docking, and 9 drugs, including parecoxib, were selected for subsequent biological evaluation. Molecular docking of parecoxib to the ligand-binding domain of PPAR-γ showed high binding affinity and relevant binding conformation compared with the PPAR-γ ligand/antidiabetic drug rosiglitazone. Per the docking result, parecoxib showed the best PPAR-γ transactivation in Ac2F rat liver cells.

This paper was mainly to discuss the potential role and mechanism of Lianhua Qingwen Capsules(LHQW) in inhibiting pathological inflammation in the model of acute lung injury caused by bacterial infection. For in vitro study, the mRNA expression of MCP-1 in RAW264.7 cells and THP-1 cells, the content of MCP-1 in cell supernatant, as well as the effect of LHQW on chemotaxis of macrophages were detected.

Objective: To study the clinical effect of body mass index (BMI) in the optimal time of weaning from sequential invasive-noninvasive mechanical ventilation (MV) by treating severity chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients.

Methods: 94 patients with severity COPD were divided into the control group (BMI<21) and the study group (BMI>21). These two groups were treated by similar symptomatic therapies such as mechanical ventilation, antibacterial, antispasmodic, relieving asthma, antitussive, expectorant, correction of electrolyte imbalance and acid-base balance disorders, strengthen nutritional support, etc.

The fluorescence emission intensity is vital to scientific observation using fluorescence microscopy. Three important factors influencing the intensity of fluorescence emission were theoretical analyzed, including the absorption ability of excitation photons, fluorescence quantum yield, and fluorescence saturation & fluorescence quenching. The authors pointed out that fluorescence molecules with large optical absorption cross section and high quantum yield can effectively guarantee the fluorescence emission intensity, and one also can avoid unnecessary fluorescence saturation if excitation intensity was determined in a reasonable range.

A zinc or indium-mediated Barbier-type allylation of aldehydes with 3-bromomethyl-5H-furan-2-one in aqueous solvents was developed to provide an efficient route to α-methylene-γ-butyrolactone, which is synthetically very useful. The desired products were obtained in moderate to high yields in aqueous solvents. Excellent drs were achieved, among which the best diastereomeric ratios of products were found when water was used in the indium-mediated reaction, and THF-NH(4)Cl (sat, aq) (2 : 1) mixture in the zinc-mediated reaction.

Wastewater from the condensation and drying section of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) resin plant was pretreated by the microelectrolysis, and the effect of the influent pH value on the pollution removal efficiency of the microelectrolysis was mainly studied. In order to study the electrochemical action of the microelectrolysis for the degradation of toxic refractory organic pollutants, two control experiments of activated carbon and iron were set up. The results showed that the TOC removal efficiencies were all fluctuated between 40% and 60% under the condition of different influent pH values.

The dissolved organic matter (DOM) of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) resin wastewater was qualitatively analysed by gas chromatography with mass spectrometry(GC-MS), Fourier transform infrared spectrometer(FTIR) and three-dimensional excitation-emission matrix (EEM) fluorescence spectroscopy. The detected results shows that the GC-MS qualitatively analysed 21 dissolved organic pollutants, such as acetophenone, styrene, alpha, alpha-dimethyl-benzenemethanol, 3,3'oxybis-propanenitrile, 3, 3'-iminobis-propanenitrile, 3,3'-thiobis-propanenitrile, 3-(dimethylamino)-propanenitrile and 2-propenenitrile. The results of Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR) and three-dimensional excitation-emission matrix (EEM) fluorescence spectroscopy could examine and certify the accuracy and integrity for the qualitative analysis of GC-MS.

Objective: To observe the reperfusion rate of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) affected by inspiring nitric oxide (NO) and resolving thrombus through veins.

Methods: Sixty cases with AMI were randomly divided into test group (n=30) and control groups (n=30). Patients in test group were cured with NO (20+/-1)mg/L inspiration for 30 minutes at once before admission and urokinase (150x10(4) U) adding 0.
