In order to remedy the lack of research on the effect of "Grain for Green" on soil carbon (C) and nitrogen (N) distribution on slope soil in purple hilly areas of Sichuan Basin, China, a study was conducted on a long-term observation site established in the Wanan small watershed of Yanting Agro-ecological Experimental Station of Purple Soil, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The morphology, content, and storage of C and N in soil at different slope positions of farmland and the artificial forests in rehabilitated land with a history of approximately 30 years were compared. Our results showed that "Grain for Green" significantly increased soil organic carbon (SOC) content and SOC stock in all soil layers.

Objective: To investigate the incidence of autism spectrum disorder (ASD)-like symptoms in the population with intellectual disability (ID).
Methods: The students with ASD or ID, aged 6-18 years, who studied in a special school in Shanghai from January to June, 2017, as well as the typically developing (TD) population of the same age, who studied in a general school in Shanghai during the same period, were enrolled. Social Responsiveness Scale (SRS) was completed by their parents or other guardians, and the ASD-like symptoms were evaluated.
Background: Early autism screening is of great value, but there is lack of a screening tool of early age (2-5 years) in China. The Autism Spectrum Rating Scale (ASRS, 2-5 years) is a newly developed autism screening tool in the USA. This study aimed to evaluate the reliability and validity of the translated Chinese version of ASRS (C_ASRS) in Chinese children population before its application in China for early autism screening.

Total immunoglobulin E (IgE) is a traditional index for judging allergic diseases, while its specificity is relatively poor. Serum-specific IgE (sIgE) is an objective index with high specificity in the diagnosis of allergic diseases.

Methods: The data were collected from 5 473 patients with clinical suspected allergic diseases seeking medical care in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University. Among these patients, 2 530 (46.
Osteoporosis (OP) is associated with cardiovascular disease. Moreover, osteoporosis has been shown to be an independent predictor of cardiovascular mortality. Recent studies revealed that altered blood rheology plays a critical role in atherosclerosis.

However, a better understanding of the mechanisms underlying the subsequent neurotoxicity requires knowledge of pathways downstream of COX, especially prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) and its receptors. Therefore, this study was performed to investigate the effects of PGE2 receptor 1 (EP1) activity on neuronal cell death resulting from hypoxia/reoxygenation (Hyp).
