Here we experimentally demonstrate the dynamics of Bloch-Zener oscillations (BZOs) in a synthetic temporal lattice formed by the optical pulses in coupled fiber loops. By periodically modulating the phases imposed to the optical pulses in linear driven lattices, a two-band Floquet system with tunable bandgaps is realized, and the related BZOs that occurred in this system are displayed. On this basis, by manipulating the phase difference and coupling angle of the synthetic lattice, the widths of 0-gap and -gap are tuned feasibly so that a wide variety of the interplays between Bloch oscillations and Landau-Zener tunneling (LZT) are exhibited.

In this study, the interaction among multifunctional excipients, including polysaccharides, cellulose derivatives, and surfactants, was particularly investigated, together with its impact on the physicochemical properties of astaxanthin amorphous solid dispersions (ASTX ASDs). It was indicated that Span 20 could rapidly form hemimicelles or aggregates in the presence of hypromellose acetate succinate HF (HPMCAS-HF, HF) or Soluplus®, while octenyl succinic anhydride modified starch (OSA-starch) efficiently assisted in the coalescence inhibition of drug-excipients aggregates, which was jointly beneficial to the recrystallization inhibition of amorphous ASTX. ASTX ASDs were further prepared with OSA-starch, HPMCAS-HF/Soluplus®, and Span 20 as the wall materials.

Experimental demonstration of tunable temporal Goos-Hänchen shift (GHS) in synthetic discrete-time heterolattices with scalar and vector gauge potentials is reported. By using Heaviside-function modulation in two fiber loops, we create a sharp gauge-potential interface and observe temporal GHS for total internal reflection (TIR), which manifests as a time delay rather than a spatial shift. The TIR occurs as the incident mode falls into the band gap of transmitted region with band shifting by scalar and vector potential.

Unlabelled: This study aimed to develop and validate a nomogram model of central venous access device-related thrombosis (CRT) for hospitalized children. A total of 503 consecutive cases from a hospital in Changsha City, Hunan Province were stochastically classified into the training set and internal validation set at a ratio of 7:3, and 85 consecutive cases in two hospitals in Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region were collected as an external validation set. Univariate analysis and multivariate analysis on CRT-related risk factors of hospitalized children were conducted, a logistic regression model was employed to establish the nomogram, and the discrimination, calibration, and decision curve analysis was performed to assess the proposed nomogram model.
