MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are gene expression regulators that play an important role in drug addiction. We previously reported miR-204-3p was the only up-regulated miRNA in the nucleus accumbens (NAc) in methamphetamine (METH)-sensitized mice. In this study, we are reporting a miR-204-3p potential mechanism in METH sensitization.

Existing methods for amides synthesis are reaching their inherent limits. Described herein is a novel rhodium-catalyzed three-component reaction to synthesize amides from organic azides, carbon monoxide, and (hetero)arenes via nitrene-intermediates and direct C-H functionalization.

Summary: Exercise training improves the whole body metabolic health in patients with T2DM, leading to an increase in glycolipid uptake and utilization, improved insulin sensitivity, optimized body mass index, and modulated DNA methylation, etc.
Osteoarthritis (OA) is an aseptic inflammatory disease which is associated with the stromal cell‑derived factor 1/C‑X‑C chemokine receptor type 4 (SDF‑1/CXCR4) axis. Accumulating studies have identified numbers of microRNAs (miRNAs) that serve important roles in the pathogenesis of OA. However, whether and how the inhibition of the SDF‑1/CXCR4 axis induces alterations in miRNA expression remains largely unclear.

This paper analyzes the analgesic effect of celecoxib in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis and put forward a new mechanism of knee joint extensor reconstruction assisted by bone anchor. The experimental group was given celecoxib 200 mg/ time and 1 time /d.

The optimal growth process was determined by investigating the relationship between the particle morphologies and reaction time. Magnetic and Raman spectroscopic measurements showed that the as-synthesized Janus composites have both good magnetic response and significant surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) effects, as well as reproducibility.

Methods: 98 consecutive patients with rHCC who underwent abdominal CT and subsequent TAE between January 2007 and December 2016 were retrospectively reviewed. The CT scans were reviewed by two radiologists blinded to the patient outcome.
Gait Posture
February 2019
Background: Plantar pressure image (PPI) recorded in high spatial and temporal resolution is very useful in clinical gait analysis. For functional analysis of PPI, image registration is often performed to maximally correlate source image with a template image. Previous methods estimate the registration parameters by iteratively optimizing different objective functions.

An animal (BALB/c mice) model of catalpol associated with bronchial asthma in vivo was established, and the effects of catalpol and its relationship with cytokines were investigated. A total of 30 adult BALB/c mice were randomly divided into a positive control group, a model group, and a catalpol group, with 10 mice in each group. The lung function of mice, the cell count, and the cytokine concentrations in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) were detected.

Methods: Pig PBMSCs were mobilized by the combined administration of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) and the CXCR4 antagonist AMD3100. Colony formation was detected by the fibroblast colony-forming unit (CFU-F) count and the percentage of the CD45-CD90+ cell population by flow cytometry.

Objective: To review the influencing factors of medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) reconstruction for patellar dislocation.
Methods: The literature of MPFL reconstruction for patellar dislocation at home and abroad in recent years were summarized and analyzed.
Results: The influencing factors such as the location of the femoral insertion point, the tension and the fixed angle of the grafts, the dysplasia of the femoral trochlear before operation, the abnormal tuberositas tibiae-trochlear groove value, the high position of the patellar, and the tilting angle of the patellar, are all the factors affecting the effectiveness of MPLF reconstruction.
