Methods: MASLD was defined as a Controlled Attenuation Parameter (CAP ≥ 274dB/m) and CLR = C-reactive protein/lymphocyte. A multifactor linear regression model was used to test the relationship between MASLD and CLR.
This systematic review and meta-analysis was performed to assess effectiveness of home-based exercise compared with control interventions for functional rehabilitation in elderly patients after hip fracture surgery. Comprehensive literature search was performed on PubMed, EMBASE, Web of Science, Cochrane library, and Clinicaltrails.gov to identify eligible randomized controlled trials (RCTs).

Herein, a HYP hydrogel was prepared using carboxymethyl chitosan, dialdehyde carboxymethyl cellulose, and marine snail peptide (Tyr-Ile-Ala-Glu-Asp-Ala-Glu-Arg) as starting materials. The marine snail peptide with good antioxidant activity could remove the reactive oxygen species in wound sites, thereby alleviating the excessive inflammatory response.

Groundwater was still the drinking water resource in most of rural areas in the central of the Yangtze River Basin. Heavy metals of Fe, Mn, and As in the low plain region of the Yangtze River Basin significantly exceeded the standard, resulting in 16.

We propose extended one-way waveguide states of large-area propagation in a photonic crystal waveguide consisting of two honeycomb gyromagnetic photonic crystals with opposite external magnetic fields. When the width of the waveguide is small enough, the edge states along both boundaries of the waveguide couple with each other strongly and thus create the so-called extended one-way waveguide states. Of note, this structure supports both even and odd extended states, which can be excited under different excitation conditions.

To realize high-precision multifrequency electrical impedance information acquisition, a high-precision MFEIT system with undersampling combined with a fast digital demodulation algorithm is proposed. The system is integrated with 16 electrodes, and semi-parallel acquisition is used.

The compounds - selectively activated PYR1, PYL2, and PYL6, while exhibiting minimal activity against PYL10, thus identifying them as selective ABA receptor agonists. Additionally, these analogues exerted a significant inhibitory effect on the phosphatase HAB1 upon binding to the receptors.

Conjugation and mobilization are two important pathways of horizontal transfer of bacterial mobile genetic elements (MGEs). The origin-of-transfer (oriT) region is crucial for this process, serving as a recognition site for relaxase and containing the DNA nicking site (nic site), which initiates the conjugation or mobilization. Here, we present a database of the origin-of-transfer regions of bacterial MGEs, oriTDB (https://bioinfo-mml.

Protein -glycosylation is one of the most important and ubiquitous post-translational modifications and often results in a remarkable heterogeneity of protein glycoforms. Protein -glycosylation often changes in a disease and holds great potential for discovering non-invasive biomarkers.

On the 20th day of the experiment, blood samples were collected at 3 h and 6 h post-supplementation to measure the amino acid and polyamine concentrations. On the 38th day of the experiment, the horses participated in a 2000 m speed race, and three distinct blood samples were gathered for assessing blood gases, hematological parameters, the plasma biochemistry, antioxidant parameters, and NO concentrations.
