Fluoroquinolone (FQ) residues in foods of animal origin may threaten public health but are challenging to determine because of their low contents and complex matrices. In this study, novel polyethyleneimine-functionalized FeO/attapulgite magnetic particles were prepared by a simple co-mixing method and applied as hydrophilic sorbents for the magnetic dispersive solid-phase extraction (MSPE) of three FQs, i.e.

To solve the problem of uncoordinated source-sink relationship that limits the increase of peanut yield, we investigated the regulating effects of ethephon on the formation of source-sink in cultivar Shanhua 9 by spraying at 10, 20, and 30 d after anthesis in a field experiment. The results showed that spraying ethephon at 10 d and 20 d after anthesis significantly reduced the number of flowers, pegs and young pods, but increased the number of immature pods and mature pods. Spraying at 30 d after anthesis did not affect the number of flowers, pegs and young pods.

In analogy to their hypervalent I(iii) analogues, the iminoyl and sulfoximidoyl groups of these compounds can be selectively transferred to organic substrates. Specifically, the uncatalyzed imination of thiols or sulfinates proceeds with good yields, while under the mild reaction conditions offered by visible light photoredox catalysis, the radical amination of hydrazones or the sulfoximidation of benzylic, allylic and propargylic C-H bonds takes place satisfactorily.

Methods: The clinical data of patients with pulmonary GGNs who were treated with thoracoscopic anatomic segmentectomy (n=58, Segmentectomy group) or thoracoscopic lobectomy (n=58, Lobectomy group) were collected and retrospectively analyzed. Next, the operative time, intraoperative blood loss, number of lymph nodes dissected, indwelling time of postoperative thoracic drainage tube, thoracic drainage volume, length of postoperative hospital stay, perioperative complications and preoperative and postoperative changes in pulmonary function were compared between the two groups of patients.
Pituitary tumors do not pose a threat to life but can cause visual disturbances and serious clinical syndromes, such as infertility and metabolic syndrome. Therefore, screening of key genes involved in the occurrence and development of pituitary tumors can provide new targets for the treatment of pituitary tumors. The aim of the present study was to investigate the molecular mechanism of long non‑coding (lnc.

Rationale: In recent decades, the incidence of advanced syphilis has declined due to early recognition and the application of effective antibiotics. Advanced syphilis often manifests in the cardiovascular system as simple aortitis, aortic valve insufficiency, coronary artery stenosis or obstruction, Aortic aneurysm and mucinous myocarditis. In most case reports on the subject, acute myocardial infarction caused by syphilis was reported to be due to aortic valve insufficiency and coronary stenosis as a result of the involvement of the aorta.

Accumulating evidence revealed that keratin 17 (KRT17) is closely related to the prognosis and progression of various tumors including a recent study also implying the potential role of KRT17 in the diagnosis of BCa. However, the specific role of KRT17 in BCa remains to be elucidated.

Methods: A comprehensive clinical history was recorded and a complete physical examination was done for each patient.
Ischemia-reperfusion(IR) injury is one of the main complications of liver transplantation and partial hepatectomy. Innate immunity mediated by kupffer cells plays an important role in it. In this study, we focused on evaluating the intrinsic relationship between the autophagy induction of kupffer cells and the activation of NLRP3 inflammasomes caused by liver ischemia-reperfusion.

However, the precise roles of RNA-binding residues in potyviral CP in viral cell-to-cell movement remain to be elucidated. In this study, we predicted the three-dimensional model of tobacco vein banding mosaic virus (TVBMV)-encoded CP and found nine residues presumably located in the CP RNA-binding pocket.

Chlorophyll content is a physiological index widely used in the research of botany and agriculture. It is closely associated with leaf photosynthetic function. The current methods cannot simultaneously determine chlorophyll content and photosynthetic function and analyze their correlation.

In this work, 1-methyl-3-(3',3',4',4',4'-pentafluorobutyl)imidazolium tetrafluoroborate (MFIM-2) ionic liquid and another two analogues were used as additives to study their interaction mechanism with the FAPbI perovskite layer.

Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the acute and subchronic toxicity of BZF to earthworms (Eisenia fetida). The acute toxicity of BZF to adult and larval earthworms was measured, as indicated by the following LC values obtained after 14 days of exposure: 416 mg/kg for adult earthworms and 341 mg/kg for juveniles.

Under photochemical conditions, reaction of these salts with N,N-dialkyl hydrazones affords 1-(dialkylamino)-1,2,3-triazoles via diazomethyl radical addition to the azomethine carbon followed by intramolecular ring closure. The straightforward transformation of the structures thus obtained into mesoionic carbene-metal complexes is also reported and the donor properties of these new ligands characterized.

Methods: Data from STEMI patients presenting to Fuwai Hospital from January 23 to April 30, 2020 were compared with those during the equivalent period in 2019. The primary end-point was net adverse clinical events (NACE; a composite of death, non-fatal myocardial reinfarction, stroke, emergency revascularization, and bleeding over BARC type 3).
To improve the CO₂ fixation ability of dry desulfurization ash (DDA), a DDA must be modified by chemical methods. At the micron level, the changes in microstructure and chemical composition before and after DDA modification were analysed by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), and the reaction mechanism of the modification process was inferred. On the other hand, the chemical and mineral phase compositions of the modified DDA and its solid products were analysed by X ray Fluorescence (XRF) and X-ray diffraction (XRD).

Immune cells infiltrating the tumor tissues have been shown to play a vital role in tumorigenesis and tumor progression, but their prognostic significance in MIBC remains unclear.
Objectives: To explore the landscape and prognostic significance of tumor-infiltrating immune cells (TIICs) in MIBC, and to develop a model to improve the prognostic predictions of MIBC.
The selective progesterone receptor modulator mifepristone (MF) may act as a potent antiproliferative agent in different steroid-dependent cancers due to its strong antagonistic effect on the nuclear progesterone receptor (PGR). Hereby, we analyzed the effects of MF treatment on Leydig cell tumor (LCT) progression in a transgenic mouse model (inhibin-α promoter-driven SV40 T-antigen), as well as on LCT (BLTK-1 and mLTC-1) cell proliferation. MF significantly stimulated the proliferation of LCT in vitro.
