Objective: Cancer survivors have experienced subjective cognitive impairment (SCI) when they received cancer diagnoses or treatments. Their psychosocial and emotional statuses were also impacted. With the advancement of web technologies, web-based cognitive interventions have been implemented in the management and the alleviation of the SCI, the psychosocial distress, and the emotional distress in cancer survivors.

This study aimed to employ machine learning (ML) techniques to predict brain injury in pediatric patients ECMO and identify key variables for future research.
Methods: Data from pediatric patients undergoing ECMO were collected from the Chinese Society of Extracorporeal Life Support (CSECLS) registry database and local hospitals.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder with an insidious onset, primarily characterized by a progressive decline in cognitive function. MCP-1 is a cytokine with chemotactic effects on monocytes, which can regulate their migration and infiltration and participate in disease progression. Increasing evidence suggests that MCP-1 plays a key role in the progression of Alzheimer's disease and has the potential to act as an early diagnostic marker and intervention target.

Clinical data of 591 EPIs admitted to NICU, Senior Department of Pediatric, PLA General Hospital from May 1, 2015 to May 1, 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. They were divided into an EOS group and a non-EOS group according to whether they had confirmed EOS or not.

Methods: 220 colorectal cancer couples were recruited from two hospitals in China, assessing family resilience, hope, family sense of coherence, spiritual well-being, social support, and couple communication quality. Congruence was assessed using intraclass correlation coefficients and paired t-tests.
High-altitude regions are prone to plateau erythrocytosis due to unique geo-climatic conditions such as low oxygen, high altitude, and low temperatures, with significantly higher incidences of hyperlipidemia and hyperuricemia compared to lowland areas. However, the extreme environmental conditions at high altitudes and the elevated hematocrit levels in blood samples from these populations present significant challenges to the applicability of existing point-of-care testing (POCT) devices. This study describes the development, early clinical validation, and potential clinical impact of three portable, paper-based photochemical biosensing platforms specifically designed for use at high altitudes to monitor hemoglobin, lipids, and uric acid in blood samples.

Methods: An assessor-blinded, two-armed, randomized controlled design was used. The study randomly assigned 144 patients hospitalized for colorectal cancer to receive either the SE intervention or the usual care.
Purpose: Self-perceived burden can take a toll on the physical and psychological well-being of cancer couples and prevent them from achieving favorable outcomes. There is limited qualitative research synthesizing the cognition and coping with self-perceived burden among Chinese colorectal cancer patients and their caregivers. Therefore, this study examined perceptions of self-perceived burden and coping strategies from the perspectives of colorectal cancer patients, their spousal caregivers and nursing staff.

Purpose: As a special psychological variable, illness perception significantly affects the cancer adaptions of colorectal cancer couples. No studies focus on facilitating cancer adaption by targeting the illness perception in colorectal cancer couples. This research attempted to explore the feasibility, acceptability, and potential effectiveness of an illness perception intervention program designed for couples with colorectal cancer, guided by a self-regulation common sense model.

Methods: Six electronic databases were searched including Web of Science, CINAHL, EMBASE, PsycINFO, PubMed and CNKI from their inception to December 2023. The article reference lists were also manually searched.
Background: Excessive growth of keratinocytes is the critical event in the etiology of psoriasis. However, the underlying molecular mechanism of psoriatic keratinocyte hyperproliferation is still unclear.
Objective: This study aimed to figure out the potential contributory role of S-phase kinase-associated protein 2 (SKP2) in promoting the hyperproliferation of keratinocytes in psoriasis.
The development of novel rare earth fluorescent materials and the exploration of their applications have consistently been focal points of research in the fields of materials science and chemistry. In this work, a novel rare earth composite material with good photo-fluorescence properties and self-supporting has been prepared a simple ultrasonic solvent reaction method. Initially, the Phen moieties is immobilized onto the surface of a self-supporting fiberglass paper using ICPTES, followed by the coordination of Eu(TTA) moieties with Phen moieties through a convenient ultrasonic solvent reaction.

Xylan acetate ester (XylA) can increase colon short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) levels and alleviate kidney disease by inhibiting inflammation through the G protein-coupled receptor pathway. Here, we synthesized and purified XylA, and then the effects and mechanisms of XylA on dextran sodium sulfate-induced UC in mice were investigated.

Therefore, the particle size of sediment particles can affect the adsorption, release, and migration of heavy metals. This study aim to investigate the distribution characteristics and chemical fraction of Cd, Pb, and As contents in sediments of different particle sizes using the BCR method, and to determine the key factors affecting the distribution of heavy metals through mineralogical methods such as XRD and EDS.

In this project we investigated the clinical outcomes of intra-vitreous conbercept (IVC) and ranibizumab (IVR) injection for treating type 1 prethreshold ROP in Zone II.
Methods: The data of ROP infants receiving IVR or IVC from January 2017 to March 2020 who were followed up for at least 12 months in our hospital was studied in the present retrospective study.
Objectives: Patients with colorectal cancer (CRC) reported experiencing subjective cognitive impairment (SCI), and their spousal caregivers perceived the patients' SCI. This cross-sectional study assessed the congruence of SCI between the patients' self-reports and the spousal caregivers' perceptions and examined the factors affecting SCI from the dyadic perspective.
Methods: A total of 200 dyads of patients with CRC and their spousal caregivers were invited to complete the survey, which evaluated the SCI, dyadic coping (DC), quality of life, anxiety, and depression for the dyads.
