Background: Genomic data have unveiled a fascinating aspect of the evolutionary past, showing that the mingling of different species through hybridization has left its mark on the histories of numerous life forms. However, the relationship between hybridization events and the origins of cyprinid fishes remains unclear.
Results: In this study, we generated de novo assembled genomes of 8 cyprinid fishes and conducted phylogenetic analyses on 24 species.
Background: Superselective adrenal artery embolization (SAAE) represents a novel therapeutic strategy for managing primary aldosteronism (PA). Currently, the evaluation of its efficacy is primarily restricted to clinical indicators, with a notable deficiency in imaging evaluation methodologies. In recent years, several studies have investigated the application of Ga-Pentixafor PET/CT for the classification of PA.

Small molecules toward PD-L1 degradation signifies an innovative avenue to modulate PD-1/PD-L1 axis. Herein, we unveil a comprehensive engineering involving the development of new PD-L1 degraders based on the berberine (BBR) and palmatine (PMT) bioactive frameworks and explore their translational potential for cancer immunotherapy using a peptide-drug conjugate strategy.

Objective: We aimed to test the long-term effects of VR on psychological distress and quality of life (QOL) with traditional care in Chinese patients with breast cancer.
Patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) are easily resistant to first-line chemotherapy with paclitaxel (PTX) or carboplatin (CBP). N-methyladenosine (mA) methyltransferase-like 3 (METTL3) has crucial functions in mA modification and tumorigenesis. However, its role in chemoresistance of NSCLC is still elusive.

Intergeneric hybridization greatly reshapes regulatory interactions among allelic and non-allelic genes. However, their effects on growth diversity remain poorly understood in animals. In this study, we conducted whole-genome sequencing and RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) analyses in diverse hybrid varieties resulting from the intergeneric hybridization of goldfish (Carassius auratus red var.

Methods: Herein, we included 106 individuals diagnosed with NPC, who underwent F-FDG PET/CT scanning before treatment. They were divided into training (n = 76) and validation (n = 30) sets.
Background: Cancer literacy as a potential health intervention tool directly impacted the success of cancer prevention and treatment initiatives. This study aimed to evaluate the cancer literacy in Northeast China, and explore the factors contributing to urban-rural disparities.
Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted in 14 cities across Liaoning Province, China, from August to October 2021, using the multistage probability proportional to size sampling (PPS) method.
Objective: The objective of this research was to create a deep learning network that utilizes multiscale images for the classification of follicular thyroid carcinoma (FTC) and follicular thyroid adenoma (FTA) through preoperative US.
Methods: This retrospective study involved the collection of ultrasound images from 279 patients at two tertiary level hospitals. To address the issue of false positives caused by small nodules, we introduced a multi-rescale fusion network (MRF-Net).
In this review, we discuss the definition, prevalence, and etiology of sporadic multiglandular disease (MGD), with an emphasis on its preoperative and intraoperative predictors. Primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) is the third-most common endocrine disorder, and multiglandular parathyroid disease (MGD) is a cause of PHPT. Hereditary MGD can be definitively diagnosed with detailed family history and genetic testing, whereas sporadic MGD presents a greater challenge in clinical practice, and parathyroidectomy for MGD is associated with a higher risk of surgical failure than single gland disease (SGD).

Studies using MCD and HFD-induced nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) models in mice show that SGP8 attenuates hepatic injury and metabolic disorders. Mechanistic studies suggest that SGP8 inhibits the JNK-c-Jun pathway in L02 cells and liver tissue under metabolic stress and targets DPP4 with DPP4 inhibitory activity.

The aim of this study was to establish the association of F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography (F-FDG PET/CT) whole-body metabolic parameters, serum carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125), and human epididymis protein 4 (HE4) with overall survival (OS) in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) after surgery combined with platinum-based chemotherapy.
Methods: From May 2014 to May 2019, a total of 79 patients with EOC who underwent posttreatment F-FDG PET/CT in the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University were included.
Objective: The aim of our study was to evaluate the prognostic value of gated SPECT MPI in non-obstructed coronary arteries (INOCA) patients, sought to stratify patients more accurately and thus derive more reliable prognostic information.
Materials And Methods: In total, 167 patients with INOCA were enrolled. The patients were divided into two groups according to their SSS.
Guidelines for colorectal cancer (CRC) screening recommend screening at age 40 for high-risk population in China. However, the yield and cost of CRC screening in younger population are lacking. This analysis aimed to evaluate the yield and cost of CRC screening in high-risk 40- to 54-year-olds.

Objective: Previous studies have shown that parental attachment was associated with higher levels of posttraumatic growth (PTG) in individuals who have experienced traumatic events. The aim of the current longitudinal study is to investigate resilience as one pathway through which parental attachment is related to PTG among Chinese adolescents following the Yancheng tornado.
Methods: A total of 351 adolescent survivors participated in this longitudinal study.

Objective: We evaluated the difference in parathyroid visualization on F-FCH PET/CT images obtained at 5 and 60 min, and quantitatively analyzed the mode of FCH uptake at different time points, to determine the best imaging time for FCH PET/CT.
Methods: This retrospective study included 73 patients with hyperparathyroidism (HPT) who underwent F-FCH PET/CT imaging between December 2017 and December 2021. The diagnostic efficiency of 5- and 60-min dual time point imaging for the diagnosis of hyperparathyroidism and parathyroid adenoma and hyperplasia, were compared using visual and quantitative analyses.

Study Design And Setting: Through a search of 4 international electronic databases, we identified multicenter RCTs published in English from 1975 to 2019. Reporting quality was assessed by the CONSORT (Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials) checklist (37 items) and by a self-designed multicenter-specific checklist (27 items covering multicenter design, implement and analysis).
In order to rationally lay out the location of automobile maintenance service stations, a method of location selection of maintenance service stations based on vehicle trajectory big data is proposed. Taking the vehicle trajectory data as the demand points, the demand points are divided according to the region by using the idea of zoning, and the location of the second-level maintenance station is selected for each region. The second-level maintenance stations selected in the whole country are set as the demand points of the first-level maintenance stations.
