Objectives: To observe the effects of acupoint injection on the expression of p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK), phosphorylated (p)-p38 MAPK, mucin 5 subtype AC (MUC5AC) in the nasal mucosa, and serum inflammatory factors of rats with allergic rhinitis, so as to explore the mechanism of acupoint injection in improving inflammatory reactions in the nasal mucosa of rats with allergic rhinitis.
Methods: SD rats were randomly divided into the normal group, model group, acupoint injection group, and non-acupoint group, with 7 rats in each group. The allergic rhinitis rat model was established using ovalbumin sensitization.
Objective: To examine the application of a novel pedagogical approach multidimensional supportive psychological intervention (MSPI) in the clinical practice teaching of andrological nursing care.
Methods: Using the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), we assessed the psychology of 100 nursing interns about to enter clinical practice in the Department of Andrology from December 2021 to December 2022. We equally randomized the subjects into an experimental and a control group, the former receiving MSPI and the latter trained on the conventional teaching model without any psychological support intervention.

Two new cytochalasans, marcytoglobosins A (1) and B (2) were isolated from the marine sponge associated fungus Chaetomium globosum 162105, along with six known compounds (3-8). The complete structures of two new compounds were determined based on 1D/2D NMR and HR-MS spectroscopic analyses coupled with ECD calculations. All eight isolates were evaluated for their antibacterial activity.

Biosynthesis of tetramates in microorganisms is normally directed by hybrid polyketide synthase (PKS) and nonribosomal peptide synthetase (NRPS) machineries, which form the tetramic acid ring by recruiting trans- or cis-acting thioesterase-like Dieckmann cyclase in bacteria. There are a group of tetramates with unique skeleton of 3-(2H-pyran-2-ylidene)pyrrolidine-2,4-dione, which remain to be investigated for their biosynthetic logics.

The 3-O-glycosylation, exclusively occurring in 20(R)-PPD ginsenosides, has never been achieved in 20(R)-PPT ginsenosides. Herein, 3-O-glycosylation of 20(R)-PPT enabled by a glycosyltransferase (GT) OsSGT2 was achieved with the combined assistance of AlphaFold 2 and molecular docking.

Among different tools, the ovariectomy (OVX) rodents are widely accepted as an appropriate menopausal pain model. Our previous study has showed that OVX produces a significant pain facilitation in both acute pain and tonic pain, however, the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.

Methods: A total of 110 male SD rats were randomly divided into blank control group (=10), catgut embedding (CE) group (=50), and sham CE group (=50). The CE and sham CE groups were randomly divided into 8 h, 3 d, 7 d, 14 d and 21 d subgroups after the intervention (=10 in each time point group).
Cyanogripeptides A-C (-), three new cyclolipopeptides with unusual β-methyl-leucine residues, were identified from an LHW52806 using an LC-MS-guided strategy. The structures of compounds - were elucidated by 1D/2D NMR, HR-MS/MS, and the advanced Marfey's method. The absolute configuration of the β-methyl-leucine residue was determined by a combination of stereoselective biosynthesis of (2,3)-β-methyl-leucine, racemization to its epimer (2,3)-β-methyl-leucine, and the advanced Marfey's method.

Unlabelled: Marine sponges are productive sources of bioactive secondary metabolites with over 200 new compounds isolated each year, contributing 23% of approved marine drugs so far. This review describes statistical research, structural diversity, and pharmacological activity of sponge derived new natural products from 2009 to 2018. Approximately 2762 new metabolites have been reported from 180 genera of sponges this decade, of which the main structural types are alkaloids and terpenoids, accounting for 50% of the total.

Materials And Methods: The expression of circPVT1 in 23 patients with de novo AML (not acute promyelocytic leukemia, not APL) and cell lines were detected by RT-qPCR. Loss of function assays were carried out to explore the influence of silenced circPVT1 on the proliferation, migration, and apoptosis in the THP-1 cell line.

Kochiae Fructus (KF) was listed as 'top grade' medicinal material by the 'Shennong's Herbal Classic of Materia Medica' and has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to delay aging and treat inflammation, such as rubella, eczema, cutaneous pruritus, etc. Our research focused on the antioxidant capability of water decoction and fractions from KF based on 2,2-iphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical and 2,2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) cation radical scavenging assay, the ferric reducing antioxidant power assay, and inhibitory effects on DNA and protein oxidative damage. The results of total phenolics and flavonoids contents showed that ethyl acetate fraction (EAF) possessed the highest phenolics and flavonoids with values of 112.
