In addition to selective catalytic reduction (SCR) and selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) which are available to remove NO from flue gas, oxidation method is receiving more and more attention because this method makes it possible to remove NO and SO from flue gas simultaneously by wet scrubbing. O as a strong oxidant has a high oxidation capacity and it can oxide NO to NO which has a higher water solubility compared with NO. However, it needs a long reaction time and the escape of unreacted ozone may cause secondary pollution.

The phenotypes of glioblastoma (GBM) progression after treatment are heterogeneous in both imaging and clinical prognosis. This study aims to apply radiomics and neural network analysis to preoperative multimodal MRI data to characterize tumor progression phenotypes. We retrospectively reviewed 41 patients with newly diagnosed cerebral GBM from 2009-2016 who comprised the machine learning training group, and prospectively included 18 patients from 2017-2018 for data validation.

Influenza vaccination is considered the most valuable means to prevent and control seasonal influenza infections, which causes various clinical symptoms, ranging from mild cough and fever to even death. Among various influenza vaccine types, the inactivated subunit type is known to provide improved safety with reduced reactogenicity. However, there are some drawbacks associated with inactivated subunit type vaccines, with the main ones being its low immunogenicity and the induction of Th2-biased immune responses.

Laboratory selection on environmental stress traits is an evolutionary approach that is informative in the context of understanding stress adaptation. Here we characterize changes in a lipidome of Drosophila melanogaster in lines selected for increased heat (elevated heat knockdown refractoriness), cold (decreased time to recover from chill-coma) and desiccation survival. Selection for desiccation resistance resulted in changes in multiple lipid classes used to characterize a lipidome.
