The incidence of hilar cholangiocarcinoma is (1-2) / 100,0001. Due to the high location of obstruction, the treatment of hilar cholangiocarcinoma is complicated, especially for patients with gastrointestinal surgery. The traditional ERCP technique is to find a way to place more stents to treat obstructive jaundice.

It is characterized by significant intellectual disability, distinct facial features, and growth and developmental challenges. The utilization of metabolomics to analyze specific metabolic markers in maternal amniotic fluid may provide innovative tools and screening methods for investigating the early pathophysiology of trisomy 21 at the functional level.

Method And Results: This paper reviews the studies on SNL by searching academic databases (Google Scholar, PubMed, Science Direct, and Web of Science, among others), analyzing its chemical compositions (alkaloids, saponins, polysaccharides, and polyphenols, among others), andbriefly describes the anti-tumor mechanisms of the main components.
Venous thromboembolism (VTE) poses a notable risk of morbidity and mortality. The natural resolution of the venous thrombus might be a potential alternative treatment strategy for VTE. Monocytes/macrophages merge as pivotal cell types in the gradual resolution of the thrombus.

Surgical interventions often entail surgical risks and postoperative complications. Here, we present a case involving endoscopically guided stent placement between the stomach and the fistula.

However, the risks of encountering recurrent biliary obstruction (RBO) after EUS-BD have increased due to the growing clinical experience of EUS-BD and prolonged prognosis of the underlying disease. Previous studies have shown that the incidence of RBO following EUS-BD ranges from 11% to 25%.

Consuming thickened liquids is an effective approach for improving the swallowing safety for dysphagia patients. The thickening effect of chia seed gum (CSG), a novel thickener, in different dispersing media (water, orange juice, and skim milk) was investigated.

Here, a new hydrogel material prepared from alginate (ALG) with three M/G ratios (1:1, 2:1, and 1:2) and CaHMB (0-2 mg/mL) was investigated. CaHMB regulates the formation and properties of ALG hydrogels through chelation and hydrogen bonding.

ERCP has become the first choice because of its good effect and less trauma. However, the severe stenosis of pancreatic duct caused by chronic pancreatitis may make ERCP more difficult.

Although the relevant reports and studies are relatively few, the consequences such as biliary obstruction and refractory cholangitis seriously affect the quality of life of patients. In this case, the patient is not willing to receive conventional surgery again.

In this study, CG and black wolfberry anthocyanin (BWA), CG and maltitol (ML) hybrid gels were constructed using CG hybrid gel as matrix. The effects of BWA or ML on the gel properties and microstructure of CG hybrid gels were investigated and a confectionery gel was developed.

It is not uncommon to encounter difficult cannulation during endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), most of which can be performed by double-guide wire, pre-cut and other techniques. Endoscopic ultrasound-guided biliary drainage (EUS-BD) can be used as a remedial solution for ERCP failure. This article provides a very well experience in ERCP combine with EUS-RV technique in cases where the duodenal papilla is located above the medial diverticulum.

Although the traditional atomic absorption method, electrochemical method and other metal ion detection methods are highly sensitive, the operation is complex, expensive and limited by the site. Therefore, we prepared the N, S-CQDs capable of detecting Hg and MnO in water with the advantages of simple operation, low cost, and direct visual signal.

Methods: A total of 56 patients with irreducible subcoracoid dislocation of the shoulder joint combined with Hill-Sacks injury admitted from December 2013 to June 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. Under the anesthesia of shoulder joint cavity injection, the reduction was performed by using anti-traction method (experimental group) and traditional Hippocrates method (control group), 28 cases in each group.

Colorectal cancer has high morbidity and mortality worldwide, especially in western countries; the incidence of colorectal cancer has been high, which is closely related to the high intake of red meat; and the N-glycolylneuraminic acid (Neu5Gc) is responsible for red meat-induced colorectal cancer. A large number of previous studies have suggested that exogenous Neu5Gc-activated inflammation induced the occurrence of colorectal cancer. However, it has not been known whether the Neu5Gc has a direct inducing effect on colorectal cancer.
