Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries have attracted significant attention due to their high theoretical energy density, low cost and environmental friendliness, which are considered one of the most promising candidates for next-generation energy storage devices. However, the sluggish kinetics associated with sulfur oxidation-reduction reactions and the detrimental shuttle effect caused by lithium polysulfides (LiPSs) significantly impacts the electrochemical performance of Li-S batteries. In this work, Co single-atom catalyst (Co-NC) on an ordered macro-microporous structure are designed, and the catalyst are coated onto 2325 separator.

This study aimed to develop a robust predictive model, FLIPI-C, using a machine learning approach to identify FL patients at high risk of POD24.
Methods: A cohort of 1,938 FL patients (FL1-3a) from seventeen centers nationwide in China was randomly divided into training and internal validation sets (2:1 ratio).
Tumor-induced osteomalacia (TIO) is a rare paraneoplastic syndrome characterized by hypophosphatemia caused by excessive secretion of fibroblast growth factor-23 (FGF-23) by tumors. This leads to impaired bone mineralization and, ultimately, osteomalacia. The most common underlying cause is a phosphaturic mesenchymal tumor (PMT).

To meet the market demand and promote the high-quality development of the whole quinoa industry chain, this study aimed to analyze the purchase behavior of quinoa from the aspects of nutritional trust and subjective norms.
Methods: Based on 1,078 micro-survey data from 16 administrative districts in Shanghai, this paper empirically examined the influence of trust in nutrition and subjective norms on consumers' purchase behavior and willingness to pay of quinoa products, and further investigated the moderating effect of preference heterogeneity.
Carbon-based hole transport layer (HTL)-free perovskite solar cells (C-PSCs) receive a lot of attention because of their simplified preparation technology, low price, and good hydrophobicity. However, the Schottky junction formed at the interface between perovskite and carbon poles affects the photogenerated carrier extraction and conversion efficiency. In this paper, 4-trifluoromethyl-2-pyridinecarboxylic acid (TPCA) is used to modify the perovskite films.

However, it may activate the systemic immune system of the patient, resulting in cytokine release syndrome (CRS). Emapalumab is a human monoclonal antibody targeting interferon-γ, inhibiting its interaction with cell surface receptors and the subsequent activation of inflammatory pathways.

Mango bacterial black spot is a major disease limiting mango production, which is now causing increasingly severe economic losses. In this study, we analyzed the differences in the composition and structure of bacterial and fungal communities in the pulp and leaves between the healthy mangoes of variety Kate and those affected by bacterial black spot, and attempted to explore potential biocontrol microorganisms for mangoes. The results showed there existed significant differences in microbial communities, the bacterial Stenotrophomonas, Curtobacterium, Massilia and fungous Penicillium, Alternaria, Aureobasidiu showed great abundance both in pulps and leaves.

Objective: In this study, an ultra-high performance liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC- MS/MS) method was prepared and verified to measure the concentrations of seven analytes (bergapten, xanthotoxol, xanthotoxin, imperatorin, osthole, isopimpinellin, isoimperatorin) in HepG2 cells.
Methods: The separation of seven analytes was performed on an ACQUITY UPLC® BEH C18 column (2.
Modular self-assembling nanoparticle vaccines, represent a cutting-edge approach in immunology with the potential to revolutionize vaccine design and efficacy. Although many innovative efficient modular self-assembling nanoparticles have been designed for vaccination, the immune activation characteristics underlying such strong protection remain poorly understood, limiting the further expansion of such nanocarrier. Here, we prepared a novel modular nanovaccine, which self-assembled via a pentamer cholera toxin B subunit (CTB) domain and an unnatural trimer domain, presenting S.

Salinization is recognized as a global problem, restricting agricultural production and sustainability. Targeting the salinity-induced oxidative stress, antioxidant treatment represents a protective strategy to improve plant salt tolerance. Herein, we report a VC MXene nanozyme (MXenzyme), which exhibits good biocompatibility and excellent reactive oxygen species scavenging activity to ameliorate the salt stress-induced inhibition of seed germination.

Herein, we innovatively report synergistic modulation of dynamic electron modification and strong metal-support interaction (SMSI) to activate and stabilize bifunctional fluorine doped Ru/RuO clusters anchored on carbon nanotube (CNT), thus achieving efficient and stable acidic overall water splitting. Theoretical and experimental studies found that surface metal-fluorine modification layer could dynamically regulate the interfacial electronic environment to stabilize and activate multiple active Ru species; and the SMSI between Ru/RuO cluster and CNT maintains stable electronic environment for dynamic electron modification and avoids migrating or shedding of active species in acidic environment.

Methods: A total of 83 hCC patients participated in this study. Patients were categorized into subgroups based on their alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) levels, presence or absence of extrahepatic metastasis, vascular invasion, Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer (BCLC) stage, tumor response, tumor size, and number LDH and sPD-L1 levels were compared before and after TACE (3, 7, and 30 days post-TACE).
Background: Whether primary or just as a complication from the progression of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), thrombosis seems to be an important player in this condition. The crosstalk between red blood cells (RBCs) and pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells (PMVECs) and their role in PAH remain undefined.
Objectives: The goals of this study were to assess the role of RBC-PMVEC interaction in microvascular thrombosis and thrombotic vascular remodeling under hypoxic conditions.
