Background: Kimura disease is characterized by inflammation, with its underlying causes remaining uncertain. There is a lack of comprehensive and systematic research on the pathology of this condition in pediatric patients. Our objective is to study the clinical and pathological attributes of Kimura disease in pediatric patients and investigate the potential diagnostic significance of immunoglobulin E (IgE) in this context.

Article Synopsis
  • The study explores the role of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) UCHL1-AS1 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), focusing on its biological functions and molecular mechanisms.
  • UCHL1-AS1 was found to inhibit the migration of HCC cells, but it did not significantly affect cell proliferation.
  • Key genes like BMP4, CALM3, and HRAS were identified as important in the context of UCHL1-AS1, suggesting potential pathways that could be targeted for better prognosis and treatment of HCC.
