Article Synopsis
  • Diabetic foot wounds often lead to serious complications like infections and amputations, prompting a study on a new treatment called Cytoreg, which is a mixture of various acids.
  • In a trial involving 10 patients, those receiving both oral Cytoreg and weekly topical applications showed better wound healing outcomes compared to those receiving only the oral treatment.
  • The study found significant positive changes in certain blood parameters and wound closure rates, suggesting potential for further clinical research into Cytoreg's efficacy for treating diabetic foot ulcers.

Cytoreg is an ionic therapeutic agent comprising a mixture of hydrochloric, sulfuric, phosphoric, hydrofluoric, oxalic, and citric acids. In diluted form, it has demonstrated efficacy against human cancers in vitro and in vivo. Although Cytoreg is well tolerated in mice, rats, rabbits, and dogs by oral and intravenous administration, its mechanism of action is not documented.
