Deep Circumflex Iliac Artery Osteoseptocutaneous Flap as a Reconstruction Method for Distal Radius Recurrent Giant Cell Tumour in the Case of a Bilateral Peroneal Magna Artery: An Eight-Year Follow-Up.

A vascularized fibula flap is an option to reconstruct osseous and soft tissue defects involving distal radius malignancy with massive soft tissue involvement. This reconstruction method is a strong anatomical construct for wrist arthrodesis and flexible septocutaneous tissue for closure. However, in rare cases of bilateral peroneal magna artery, a vascularized fibula flap is not a suitable option given its potential risk of limb ischemia.

Congenital constriction band syndrome is a rare condition that presents with constriction bands affecting different types of extremities. Timely surgical intervention for moderate and severe stages of this condition can be performed either in a single stage or multiple stages. We report the case of a neonate who presented with a congenital constriction band and had excision of the constriction band and z-plasty reconstruction.

It is a sporadically reported condition, where almost all reported cases showed involvement of fingers, toes or genitalia. A significant number of the cases are infants aged two weeks to six months where it is attributed to the mother's excessive hair fall due to hormonal changes after delivery.

Giant Mediastinal Germ Cell Tumour: An Enigma of Surgical Consideration.

We present a case of 16-year-old male, who was referred from private centre for dyspnoea, fatigue, and orthopnea. The chest radiograph revealed complete opacification of left chest which was confirmed by computed tomography as a large left mediastinal mass measuring 14 × 15 × 18 cm. The diagnostic needle core biopsy revealed mixed germ cell tumour with possible combination of embryonal carcinoma, yolk sac, and teratoma.

Diabetic complications occur as a result of increased reactive oxygen species (ROS) due to long term hyperglycaemia. Honey and ginger have been shown to exhibit antioxidant activity which can scavenge ROS.
