Organisms are usually exposed to mixtures of emerging pollutants in aquatic environments. Due to their widespread use and environmental relevance, the individual and combined effects of the drugs azithromycin (AZT) and ivermectin (IVM) on the freshwater rotifer Lecane papuana and the euryhaline rotifer Proales similis were investigated. Rotifers showed greater sensitivity to IVM compared to AZT.
