[Clinical case: approach to the difficult airway in neonatology. Treacher-Collins syndrome].

If newborns have an airway obstruction, they require urgent and expert management to avoid mortality and morbidity. The definition of difficult airway includes problems in endotracheal intubation or positive pressure ventilation with bag and mask or T-piece resuscitator. Management should be based on an understanding of the pathophysiological mechanism responsible for difficult airway.
