Carbon nanotube (CNT) paste emitters were created using a combination of CNTs and graphite nanopowder as a filler, along with a graphite rod acting as the cathode.
The fabrication process included treating the emitters with sandpaper to enhance the density of emission sites.
These emitters demonstrated impressive field emission performance, achieving high emission currents and stability even after electrical arcing events, thanks to the effective mechanical adhesion provided by the graphite filler.
