Lepilemur mittermeieri, a little-studied sportive lemur of north-west Madagascar, endemic to the Ampasindava Peninsula, faces habitat loss through forest degradation and rapid fragmentation. Understanding its habitat requirement is the first step toward preservation of this threatened forest-dependent species.
