Fosfomycin resistance in community-acquired urinary pathogens from Western Cape, South Africa.

Oral fosfomycin is commonly used to treat uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTI) and whilst resistance has been reported in many healthcare facilities in South Africa, the current prevalence remains unknown.
