Introduction: The outsourcing of work activities has caused new and precarious working conditions, impacting the health and safety of workers, resulting in an increase in disease and accidents given the vulnerability established in the contemporary labor market.

Objectives: To identify the occurrence of risk of disease resulting from work, among outsourced workers.

Methods: Quantitative, observational, analytical and cross-sectional study, with application of the Inventário de Trabalho e Riscos de Adoecimento in 187 workers of a company that supplies and manages human resources for third parties, under contract with a Federal University, located in the state of Minas Gerais.

This study investigated platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and adipose stem cell-conditioned medium (ASC-CM) use as a strategy to accelerate tissue healing. Platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) were quantified in fresh and freeze-dried PRP and ASC-CM, and a stability test was performed in the freeze-dried samples (90 and 180 days of storage). The importance of spirituality as a research topic has been increasingly recognized, which has led to several studies on the topic. Areas including psychology, medicine, and nursing have produced studies on spirituality under a plurality of definitions and methods, which reveals the complexity of the theme. However, this has resulted in a range of potential problems, including: (1) the use of overlapping and contradictory terms between studies, or even within the same study, (2) research methodologies that do not fit the definitions (sometimes unreflectively) assumed by the authors, (3) difficulties, or even the impossibility, of comparing the results of studies, (4) controversies in respect of the inclusion/exclusion of secular groups in research on spirituality, and (5) ambiguous measurements, often being exclusively dependent on each participant's individual interpretation of what spirituality means.

The sequence of M1 and M2 macrophage accumulation and the duration of each subtype in the injured area may help to direct the relative extent of fibrogenesis and myogenesis during healing. We hypothesized that increasing the number of M1 macrophages early after traumatic muscle injury would produce more cellular and molecular substrates for myogenesis and fewer substrates for fibrosis, leading to better muscle healing.

Temperature shifts trigger genome-wide changes in Escherichia coli's gene expression. We studied if chromosome integration impacts on a gene's sensitivity to these shifts, by comparing the single-RNA production kinetics of a P promoter, when chromosomally-integrated and when single-copy plasmid-borne.
