We announce the complete genome sequence of strain PH1273. This strain was collected from a pond in the Philippines in 2015. Genome analysis revealed that it lacks the gene responsible for causing acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease but encode multiple secretion systems and the associated effectors.

The emergence of multidrug-resistant bacterial strains in diverse settings has been reported globally. In the Philippine shrimp aquaculture industry, antibiotics are used for the treatment of bacterial diseases during the production cycle. We report the draft genome of PH698, a multidrug-resistant strain isolated from a Philippine shrimp farm.

Draft Genome Sequence of Vibrio parahaemolyticus Strain PH1339, Which Causes Acute Hepatopancreatic Necrosis Disease in Shrimp in the Philippines.

We report the first draft genome sequence of an acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (AHPND)-causing strain isolated from a sample from the Philippines. The strain carries the genes encoding the Pir-like toxin pair PirA and PirB.
