Objective: Clinical cancer genetics services are expanding globally, but national policy and health care systems influence availability and implementation. Understanding the environmental factors within a country is required to appropriately implement, adapt, and evaluate cancer genetics service delivery models. An environmental scan (ES) is an approach used in business, public health, health care and other sectors to collect information about an environment or system for strategic decision making and program planning.

Unlabelled: Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) has an important role in patients with locally advanced cancers, treating distant micrometastases, downstaging tumors, improving operability, and sometimes allowing breast-conserving surgery to take place. We studied the association between two Positron Emission Mammography with F-FDG (F-FDG-PEM) semi-quantitative parameters in 108 patients and correlated with pathologic response in each of the following breast cancer subtype: Triple negative breast cancer (TPN), HER2-positive, and ER-positive/HER2-negative cancers.
Aim: Examine the association between two Positron Emission Mammography (PEM) semi-quantitative parameters: PUVmax (maximum uptake value) and LTB (lesion to background) baseline and the end of NAC with pathologic response in each breast cancer subtype.
Background: Cervical cancer (CC) occupies fourth place in cancer incidence and mortality worldwide in women, with 560,505 new cases and 284,923 deaths per year. Approximately, nine of every ten (87%) take place in developing countries. When a macroscopic nodal involvement is discovered during a radical hysterectomy (RH), there is controversy in the literature between resect macroscopic lymph node compromise or abandonment of the surgery and sending the patient for standard chemo-radiotherapy treatment.
