Background: In Burkina Faso, red blood cell (RBC) transfusion remains the crucial anaemia treatment following chronic renal failure (CRF) as erythropoietin and its analogues are unavailable. However, blood group matching beyond the ABO and Rhesus is not common in Burkina Faso. Thus, alloimmunisation is a potential issue for transfused patients.

Aim: The aim of our study was to determine the prevalence and factors associated with intradialytic hypotension in our cohort of chronic hemodialysis patients.
Methods: This was a prospective monocentric study over a six-month period. Intradialytic hypotension was defined as a decrease in systolic blood pressure ≥ 20mmHg or a decrease in mean arterial pressure of 10mmHg associated with clinical events and the need for nursing interventions.
Unlabelled: Erectile dysfunction is a common pathology in the general population. The frequency of these erectile disorders is increased in some particular populations such as patients with renal impairment in which it is estimated between 50% and 70% depending on the stage of renal failure.
Aims: Our study aims to study erectile dysfunction in chronic hemodialyzed male patients.
Aim: We wanted to know the prevalence of depression and anxiety, as well as the associated factors in patients with chronic renal failure in Burkina Faso.
Patients And Methods: This was an analytical cross-sectional study conducted from February to May 2016. We included all adult patients with moderate or severe chronic renal failure.
Aim: Describe acute renal failure during dengue fever in Ouagadougou, in a context of almost nonexistent african data on the subject.
Patients And Method: The study was cross-sectional and descriptive with a retrospective collection of data in 13 health structures. It concerned a period of 16 months.
