Follicular Helper T-cell Lymphoma With Hodgkin/Reed-Sternberg-Like Cells Versus Classic Hodgkin Lymphoma: A Comparative Study.

Lymphomas of T-follicular helper origin (T-follicular helper-cell lymphoma [TFHL]) are often accompanied by an expansion of B-immunoblasts, occasionally with Hodgkin/Reed-Sternberg-like (HRS-like) cells, making the differential diagnosis with classic Hodgkin lymphoma (CHL) difficult. We compared the morphologic, immunophenotypic, and molecular features of 15 TFHL and 12 CHL samples and discussed 4 challenging cases of uncertain diagnosis. Compared with CHL, TFHL disclosed more frequent sparing of subcortical sinuses, high-endothelium venule proliferation, dendritic cell meshwork expansion, T-cell atypia, and aberrant T-cell immunophenotype.

Eplet 52SK is unique in the HLA eplet registry as targeting the whole family of DQA1*01 alleles. It is proposed as an antibody-verified eplet but has not been validated enough to deserve this label. Especially, confusion can occur with reactivity targeting the 52PQ eplet which is present on the DQB1*05 and DQB1*06 alleles families, as DQ molecule stability imposes DQA1*01 to selectively associate with these DQ-β families only.

To develop health promotion (HP) in sports clubs (SCs), stakeholders need to know the HP expectations of sports participants. However, the literature does not provide information on these aspects, which exacerbates the difficulty for SCs to provide an environment, activities and organization that promote health and to play the role entrusted to them in the integration of vulnerable populations. To fill this gap, this study explores the HP expectations and perceptions of sports participants, with a particular focus on ethnocultural characteristics, and documents participants' understanding of HP.

Objectives: Daratumumab-treated myeloma patients may face increased seasonal influenza risk due to weakened postvaccination immune responses, especially with daratumumab treatment. We aimed to assess humoral responses to boosted influenza vaccination in daratumumab-treated or -untreated patients.

Methods: In a single-center study, we evaluated humoral responses (hemagglutination-inhibition assay) one month following a two-injection (4-weeks apart) influenza vaccination (standard dose) in 84 patients with multiple myeloma (40 with daratumumab in the past year).

Comprehensive Genetic Profiling Reveals Frequent Alterations of Driver Genes on the X Chromosome in Extranodal NK/T-cell Lymphoma.

Extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma (ENKTCL) is an Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-related neoplasm with male dominance and a poor prognosis. A better understanding of the genetic alterations and their functional roles in ENKTCL could help improve patient stratification and treatments. In this study, we performed a comprehensive genetic analysis of 178 ENKTCL cases to delineate the landscape of mutations, copy number alterations (CNA), and structural variations, identifying 34 driver genes including six previously unappreciated ones, namely, HLA-B, HLA-C, ROBO1, CD58, POT1, and MAP2K1.

In transplantation, anti-HLA Abs, especially targeting the DQ locus, are well-known to lead to rejection. These Abs identified by Luminex single Ag assays recognize polymorphic amino acids on HLA, named eplets. The HLA Eplet Registry included 83 DQ eplets, mainly deduced from amino acid sequence alignments, among which 66 have not been experimentally verified.

However existing health promotion (HP) interventions in SCs mainly target a single health behavior and men who do sports, and evaluations of such interventions provides little information about their deployment. To overcome these limitations, the PROSCeSS intervention was co-constructed based on the theoretical model of the health-promoting SC and multi-level, multi-determinant health strategies.

Clinical and histological study of follicular helper T-cell lymphomas with indolent evolution.

Introduction: Follicular helper T-cell lymphomas (TFHL) have an aggressive course with a poor outcome. European and US guidelines recommend anthracycline-based chemotherapy as a first-line treatment, but the 5-year overall survival rate is still approximately 30%. We describe here the features of a cohort of TFHL patients who experienced prolonged survival despite the absence of specific treatment or the initiation of steroid-based therapy.

Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma and Kaposi sarcoma: A fortuitous collision?

Aims: Follicular helper T-cell (TFH) lymphoma of the angioimmunoblastic-type (AITL), one of the most prevalent T-cell lymphomas, typically encompasses proliferation of high endothelial venules and Epstein-Barr virus-positive immunoblasts, but neither infection with HHV8 nor association with Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) have been described. The aims of this study are to characterise the association between AITL and HHV8 infection or KS.

Methods And Results: Three male patients aged 49-76 years, HIV-negative, with concurrent nodal involvement by AITL and KS, were identified from our files and carefully studied.

A health promoting sports club framework: strategies from the field.

The application of the settings-based approach to sports clubs requires a context-specific framework to develop and operationalize health promotion interventions. Incorporating top-down and bottom-up perspectives into interventions increases their efficiency, success and sustainability. In 2020, the health promoting sports club (HPSC) model and intervention framework were created, including strategies and intervention components.

Axicabtagene ciloleucel as second-line therapy in large B cell lymphoma ineligible for autologous stem cell transplantation: a phase 2 trial.

Axicabtagene ciloleucel (axi-cel) demonstrated superior efficacy compared to standard of care as second-line therapy in patients with high-risk relapsed/refractory (R/R) large B cell lymphoma (LBCL) considered eligible for autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT); however, in clinical practice, roughly half of patients with R/R LBCL are deemed unsuitable candidates for ASCT. The efficacy of axi-cel remains to be ascertained in transplant-ineligible patients. ALYCANTE, an open-label, phase 2 study, evaluated axi-cel as a second-line therapy in 62 patients with R/R LBCL who were considered ineligible for ASCT.

A RE-AIM framework analysis of a sports club health promotion MOOC: the PROSCeSS MOOC.

Acquisition of health promotion (HP) skills and knowledge is essential for interventions development in this field. In sports clubs (SC), little HP training exists even though it was requested by SC actors. In response, the PROSCeSS (PROmotion de la Santé au sein du Clubs SportifS) MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) was developed to support actors of HP in the SC in the development of HP interventions.

How molecular advances may improve the diagnosis and management of PTCL patients.

Peripheral T-cell lymphomas (PTCL) comprised more than 30 rare heterogeneous entities, representing 10 to 15% of adult non-Hodgkin lymphomas. Although their diagnosis is still mainly based on clinical, pathological, and phenotypic features, molecular studies have allowed for a better understanding of the oncogenic mechanisms involved and the refinement of many PTCL entities in the recently updated classifications. The prognosis remains poor for most entities (5-year overall survival < 30%), with current conventional therapies based on anthracyclin-based polychemotherapy regimen, despite many years of clinical trials.
