Problems caused by urban heat have prompted the exploration of urban greenery and blue spaces for heat mitigation. Various numerical models can simulate heat-related processes, but their use as support-tools to urban planners remains underexplored, particularly at the city-scale, due to high computational demand and complexity of such models. This study investigates the spatial relationships between urban heat, urban form and urban green and blue spaces with the fast climate model TARGET (The Air-temperature Response to Green/blue-infrastructure Evaluation Tool), which only requires minimal inputs of standard meteorological data, land cover and building geometry data.

Methods: This was a quantitative, documental, and retrospective study involving 105 pregnant women treated in obstetric triage under sepsis criteria. Data were collected through electronic medical records using structured forms and were organized into tables employing descriptive statistics.

A 9-year-old cat was referred for rhinoscopy at the Veterinary Hospital of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Lisbon, Portugal, for an investigation of the chronic respiratory signs. Analysis of functionality, pain and quality of life after surgically treated ankle fractures in active and inactive individuals.

Although the ankle is often involved in low energy trauma, high-energy trauma may occur, being this considered more serious and more common of affecting young and active men. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate and compare the functionality, pain and quality of life of active and inactive adult individuals whose ankle fracture was surgically treated. Seventy-six patients split into two groups (active, n = 58 X inactive, n = 18), of the men (active, n = 38; inactive, n = 9) and women (active, n = 20; inactive, n = 9) gender participated in this prospective study.

Objective: We evaluated the patency of the spinal arteries (intercostal and lumbar) after the STABILISE (stent-assisted balloon-induced intimal disruption and relamination in aortic dissection repair) technique.

Methods: A retrospective analysis of all patients with aortic dissection treated with the STABILISE technique between April 2018 and July 2021 was performed. Imaging analysis of the spinal cord vascular supply was accomplished using multiplanar and maximum intensity projection reconstructed images of pre- and postoperative computed tomography angiograms at 1 month, 12 months, and annually thereafter.

This study presents a systematic literature review aimed at mapping the main areas of study on the relationship between higher education institutions' strategic alliances and sustainable entrepreneurship. To that end, it carried out three complementary analyses: topic mapping, co-citation, and overlay visualization, in order to provide a comprehensive picture of that relationship from 1994 to 2022. The empirical approach is based on a total sample of 207 articles published in the Web of Science database, which was screened in terms of title, abstract and keywords, and subject to a search protocol involving inclusion and exclusion criteria.
