In September 2023, a surge of violence against healthcare professionals occurred in Nepal within a two-week span, despite recent legal amendments aimed at curbing such incidents. This manuscript explores whether stricter legislation effectively deters these acts. The violence is rooted in Nepal's healthcare system's inadequacies, leading to overcrowded and understaffed hospitals, patient frustration, and healthcare professional burnout.

Smell and Taste Disturbance in COVID-19 Patients: A Prospective Multicenteric Review.

To study the incidence of the smell and taste disturbance in the COVID-19 patients and a follow up at 4 months to observe for the duration of resolution of these symptoms. This is a multicentric prospective study carried out in 3 different countries, from April, 2020 to January, 2021. The COVID-19 positive patients, aged between 15 and 60 years, were inquired about the presence of any smell or taste related symptoms.

Mouth Self-Examination for Prevention and Control of Oral Cavity Cancer.

Cause-of-death (COD) statement, which is vulnerable to various errors, is the vital part of a DC that has the potential to mislead the policy makers and statisticians.
