The association between chronotype, sleep quality and medication errors among critical care nurses.

Medication administration errors could result in severe complications in critical care units. This study investigated an association between chronotype, sleep quality and medication errors among essential nurses of care in Qazvin teaching hospitals in Iran. In this multicenter, cross-sectional study, all registered nurses of critical care units of Qazvin teaching hospitals were recruited.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected the lives of the community. The resulting social constraints and the physical and psychological consequences are also expected to affect sexual health. The present study aims to determine the status of sexual function, desire, and satisfaction of couples during the outbreak of COVID-19.

The effect of yoga on the delivery and neonatal outcomes in nulliparous pregnant women in Iran: a clinical trial study.

Background: Yoga can reduce the risk of preterm delivery, cesarean section (CS), and fetal death. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of Yoga on pregnancy, delivery, and neonatal outcomes.

Methods: This was a clinical trial study and using the random sampling without replacement 70 pregnant women entered Hatha Yoga and control groups according to the color of the ball they took from a bag containing two balls (blue or red).

Background: Improvement in the level of consciousness (LOC) is considered as an indicator of recovery among patients with head trauma (HT). musical stimulation is a simple noninvasive intervention with potential positive effects on LOC. This study evaluated the effects of musical stimulation on LOC among patients with HT hospitalized in intensive care unit.

Association between health literacy and adopting preventive behaviors of breast cancer in Iran.

Background: Health literacy plays an important role in adopting preventive behaviors. Considering the relatively high prevalence of breast cancer in women, this study aimed to assess the association between health literacy and adopting the preventive behavior of breast cancer in Iran.

Methods: This was a descriptive, cross-sectional study, in which 375 female students at Imam Khomeini International University in Qazvin in the academic year of 2018-2019 were selected through a stratified random sampling method.

Improving Door-to-Balloon Time for Patients With Acute ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction: A Controlled Clinical Trial.

According to the latest guidelines, the best intervention to restore blood flow through occluded coronary arteries is angioplasty at a time less than 90 minutes. Thereby, the present study was conducted to determine the impact of implementing ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) code on door-to-balloon time in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction. This clinical trial was conducted in 2019 at Booali Sina heart center hospital in Qazvin, Iran, in 2019.

Nurses' experiences of futile care at intensive care units: a phenomenological study.

The concept and meaning of futile care depends on the existing culture, values, religion, beliefs, medical achievements and emotional status of a country. We aimed to define the concept of futile care in the viewpoints of nurses working in intensive care units (ICUs). In this phenomenological study, the experiences of 25 nurses were explored in 11 teaching hospitals affiliated to Social Security Organization in Ghazvin province in the northwest of Iran.
