Background: Accumulate evidence indicated that moxibustion has a positive effect on pain treatment. However, the bibliometric analysis of moxibustion on pain remains uncertain. Herein, this study aimed to explore the current hotspots and the research trends over the past decade to bring a great panorama in this field.

Heat stress is one of the major environmental stressors challenging the global poultry industry. Identifying the genes responsible for heat tolerance is fundamentally important for direct breeding programs. To uncover the genetic basis underlying the ambient temperature adaptation of chickens, we analyzed a total of 59 whole genomes from indigenous chickens that inhabit South Asian tropical regions and temperate regions from Northern China.

Introduction: Postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) is a severe complication of herpes zoster (HZ), representing an important burden of disease in the elderly. Electroacupuncture (EA) has become growingly appreciated as a therapy of PHN with the situation that effectiveness of conventional therapy of PHN is less than ideal. Owing to its low price, no side effects, high safety and high patients acceptance, EA has been used in treating PHN more frequently.

The coupling strength between electroencephalogram (EEG) and electromyography (EMG) signals during motion control reflects the interaction between the cerebral motor cortex and muscles. Therefore, neuromuscular coupling characterization is instructive in assessing motor function. In this study, to overcome the limitation of losing the characteristics of signals in conventional time series symbolization methods, a variable scale symbolic transfer entropy (VS-STE) analysis approach was proposed for corticomuscular coupling evaluation.

In this work, we developed a new integrator system with low-drift and small integration time constant less than 1 ms, which applies to the weak signals from magnetic measurements. This integrator system is designed on the basis of the analog drift compensation and the real-time digital correction of residual drift. The analog drift compensation is achieved by the subtraction between two integrators and the digital correction method is available due to the stability of integral drift in short time scale.

Copolymer of acrylamide and 2-[(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]trimethylammonium chloride [P(AM-DMC)] is found to be effective to combine anionic dyes with strong aqueous solubility. This work aims mainly at revealing the interaction between anionic dyes and [P(AM-DMC)] by running jar test, spectra analysis and equilibrium dialysis experiments. The results show that P(AM-DMC) effectively decolorizes the tested strong water soluble anionic dyes, such as acidic, reactive and direct dyes, from their aqueous solutions under mild acidic and neutral conditions.
