In a significant percentage of breast cancers, increased expression of the HER2 receptor is seen and is associated with the spread and worsening of the disease. This research aims to investigate the effect of miR-559 (which targets HER2 mRNA) on SKBR3 breast cancer cells and the possibility of their effective delivery with polymeric nanoparticles and tumor-targeting peptides. L-DOPA monomers were polymerized on the surface of silica nanoparticles in the presence of miR-559 (as a molecular template for molecular imprinting) then an anti-HER2 peptide coupled to the surface of these polymeric nanocomposites (miR-NC-NL2), and the effects of this construct against a HER2-positive breast cancer cells (SKBR3 cells) investigated in vitro conditions.

Micro-ribonucleic acid (miRNA) can be involved in forming of atherosclerotic plaques, inflammation, cholesterol metabolism, and other mechanisms involved in CAD development. This study aimed to evaluate the expression level of miR-22, miR-30c, miR-145, and miR-519d and their possible association with inflammatory markers among patients with CAD.

Farnesoid X-activated receptors () are one of the nuclear receptor superfamily members which have a pivotal role in the bile acid regulation. The objective of the present study was to examine the role of in mediating the hepatoprotective effects of saffron.

Milk thistle and Chicory are known as potent protective remedies in several liver disorders. The objective of this work was to examine the role of in the hepato-healing properties of milk thistle (MTE) and chicory extracts (CE) in a rat model of acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity.

An assessment of the effect of Toxocara canis infection on arthritis in rats stimulated by Freund's complete adjuvant (FCA) was the main purpose of the investigation. An arthritis model was established by the administration of 0.
