Purpose: This study has two objectives: (1) to identify the indicators of the nursing outcome "Knowledge: Wound management (3209)" related to the evaluation of knowledge about the care of surgical wounds; (2) to translate and culturally adapt the nursing outcome "Knowledge: Wound management (3209)" into Brazilian Portuguese and Colombian Spanish.
Methods: This is a methodological study with two steps. Initially, a scoping review was conducted based on the methodology of the Joanna Briggs Institute.
Objective: To describe the recruitment, retention of family caregivers, and adherence to a telephone based intervention evaluated in a multi-site trial and provide recommendations for the design of future studies.
Methods: A descriptive study based on a secondary analysis of a multi-site clinical development in Colombia and Brazil. Recruitment was measured by the number of participants eligible and consented.
Background: During their training process, nursing students carry out internships in different care settings, which implies direct contact with more than one patient simultaneously. Their hands represent a vehicle for transmitting pathogens that cause healthcare-related infections. Various interventions have been proposed to improve nursing students' knowledge or compliance to hand hygiene.

Methods: Randomized, controlled feasibility study with 166 first-time mothers between 14 and 19 years of age, from 20 to 30 weeks of gestation, assigned to an experimental group (nursing intervention: breastfeeding counseling) or a control group (usual education plus nursing intervention not related to breastfeeding). The rate of abandonment of exclusive breastfeeding and the level of knowledge about breastfeeding were evaluated.

Objective: Analyze the adjustment of the CPCI-Brazilian version and its scales to the Rasch model.
Methods: CPCI Rasch analysis with 705 outpatients from a Brazilian hospital.
Background: The Chronic Pain Coping Inventory (CPCI) has been widely used to measure coping with pain, however, the psychometric properties of the Brazilian CPCI are unknown.
Aim: To verify the validity and reliability of the CPCI-Brazilian version.
Materials And Methods: A sample of 705 outpatients with chronic pain participated in the study.
Objective: to describe the theoretical construction process of nursing process support documents in COVID-19 care scenarios.
Methods: an experience report of the joint activity of the Brazilian Nursing Process Research Network (Rede de Pesquisa em Processo de Enfermagem) composed of Higher Education and Health Institution researchers in Brazil.
Results: five instruments were organized collectively, involving the elements of nursing practice (nursing diagnoses, outcomes and interventions) in assistance for community; for patients (with suspected or mild, moderate, and critical COVID-19 and residents in Nursing Homes); for nursing workers' health support, also subsidizing registration and documentation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Objective: to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Self-Care Confidence Scale in heart failure in the Brazilian version of the Self Care Heart Failure Index, version 6.2, using the Rasch model criteria.
Method: secondary study, of psychometric analysis, using the Rasch model, of the six items of the scale.
Introduction: The periwound skin influences the evolution of the wound. Among the mechanisms that affect it are the wound's own exudate and the use of therapeutic support devices.
Objective: The objective of this scoping review is to map out topical products that have been implemented and evaluated for either the protection or treatment of injuries caused by exudate or the use of adhesives or therapeutic dressings on the periwound skin of acute or chronic wounds.
Objective: To estimate content validity of the diagnosis Caregiver Role Strain.
Methods: Content validation of the defining characteristics according to Fehring's model was undertaken by 6 Colombian nurses and 9 Brazilian counterparts. The relevance of each defining characteristic for the diagnosis was assessed using 5-point Likert type scale.
Objective Describing the development process of a nursing intervention program to promote the adaptation of family caregivers for people with chronic diseases in Colombia and Brazil. Method A developmental study in which an intervention program was created as proposed by the UK Medical Research Council for developing and evaluating complex interventions.
