Background: Olmsted syndrome (OS) is a rare genodermatosis predominantly inherited in an autosomal dominant manner, typically arising from gain-of-function (GOF) variants in the transient receptor potential channel vanilloid 3 (TRPV3) gene.
Objective: This study aims to investigate potential mechanisms underlying OS in two cases presenting with an autosomal recessive inheritance pattern.
Methods: Next-generation sequencing panel was employed to identify TRPV3 variants.

To quantitatively assess the diagnostic efficacy of multiple parameters derived from multi-b-value diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) using turbo spin echo (TSE)-based acquisition techniques in patients with solitary pulmonary lesions (SPLs). A total of 105 patients with SPLs underwent lung DWI using single-shot TSE-based acquisition techniques and multiple b values. Here we show that inhibition of autophagy stabilizes the transcription factor Twist1 through Sequestosome-1 (SQSTM1, also known as p62) and thus increases cell proliferation, migration, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in tumor development and metastasis.
